Appliance Repair
I felt that he treated me respectfully, as an intelligent person who could understand the problem and wanted to know what he was doing and what my options were. He explained to me that the reason the part malfunctions is that the lint screen and duct work gets clogged with lint or otherwise blocked and the heat builds up and damages the part. He showed me the air duct/ hose behind the dryer was somewhat kinked, cutting off some of the air. He told me that the majority of dryer repairs could be avoided by cleaning the lint trap every time, cleaning the ductwork regularly, and making sure the air duct hose is not kinked, specifically in my case, by keeping the dryer about 1 foot from the wall behind it. We decided to put an empty detergent bottle behind the dryer to keep it from being pushed back and kinking the air hose. He was very informal, but respectful. I recall that he was flexible with when he could come, and was there promptly.
