Nick is very professional as he completes his year around animal control maintenance for our house in Montague. He is very responsive to any situation that might come up (e.g. removed a family of 14 skunks the day we made the frantic call for help!). He checked out the roof very thoroughly and found where they were getting in. The night before he came I didn't hear the squirrels and when he found the opening he put a trap over their point of entry. He left the trap there for several weeks but no flying squirrels. I can only suggest the trap blocked their re-entry and once he sealed the area they haven't been back. What I liked about Nick's approach is that he was trapping from the exterior rather than the interior. Also, I like the fact that I have a one year guarantee so if somehow they get in again he will come back out at no charge.

He showed up on time. I was grateful that he showed up at all after my negative experience calling every animal removal company in the Grand Rapids area. He drove over an hour to get to my house and called me on the way to assure me he was coming. He was super polite, professional and went over and above his job description, examining the basement for bait boxes (there were none - I had a pest control company come the week before), checking out my dryer vent situation and the foundation. He seemed to have some builder knowledge, pointing out grease fittings which were in the foundation wall and encouraging me to call my realtor to find out the purpose of the grease fittings (I did - thank you, Nick), he examined my dryer vent after I mentioned to him I had a dryer vent cleaning scheduled for later that day (he checked it out anyway). He told me we have a serious mouse problem and took me outside and showed me how they were getting in and plugged up the holes. He said we had years of excrement buildup in our attic from mice and chipmunks and suggested we call ServPro and have the stuff vacuumed out. I was more than pleased with this independent company owner and would use him again in a heartbeat. He put a one year written warranty on his work and said if we still heard sounds in the attic in two weeks to call him and he would come right back. He did something extra for the price he charged but I don't remember what it was. He was at my house for at least two hours maybe longer. He made suggestions for our future renovation project and seemed to really care about our situation. I would recommend this nice young man to anyone - he goes above and beyond in his job.

We live in the woods and always have mice/squirrels/moles/bats to contend with. This is the second year we have called Nick. He always returns phone calls promptly, is on time for appointments, and makes sure the job is done 100%. He is very knowledgeable about these "critters" too.
