I couldn't be happier with the work of Harper Mechanical. My furnace had stopped working. My wife and I had spent a cold night and it was below 50 in the house.. The furnace was over 35 years old and I had decided to get a new one. I wanted to get a Payne from the review in Consumer Reports. I called the local Payne distributer and he gave a few contractors, including Harper. I reached Scott, the owner, in the morning on the way to a dentist appointment. He told me he would come over by noon. He arrived and looked at the furnace and agreed that it should be replaced. He gave me a price for a Payne and I gave him a deposit. He told me his son was on another job, but he would come to my house that same afternoon. His son and helper arrived early in the afternoon with the new furnace. Scott called me and said they had finished early with their other job and that they would finish my furnace before they went home that night. I couldn't believe it! As promised, the furnace was heating up the house by 6:30. Scott came by to check the job and help finish up. My wife and I were grateful that we had a comfortable home again. I would recommend Harper Mechanical without reservation.

everything just as it was explained before hand. There were no surprises. They had to make additional adapting duct work to fit the new unit, no problem, they had it professionally fabricated, and was installed the same day. they followed up by calling to make sure I was satisfied with the new equipment and service. I let them know that I was very happy with their service.

We have baseboard heat which means we cannot have the traditional central air because we have no duct work.  We chose to go with the Fujitsu mini-split air conditioning system for our home and found Scott Harper of Harper Mechanical to do the work.  He is quite knowledgeable about this newer technology.  He and his crew of Dustin and Rich were very punctual and exacting about their work.  It took two full days to install all the piping and  to complete the electrical work.  We couldn't be more pleased with the job they did.  A few days after the job was completed, we had a small problem which Scott responded to immediately and now all is well.  After 24 summers in a home with no air conditioning, we are now staying very comfortable on these very hot summer days.
