I am 1,000% pleased with the work performed. Professional, prompt, courteous and reasonably priced. From startup to cleanup Dawson's did a fantastic job.

I called Dawson’s on the recommendation of a neighbor. I spoke with the owner Cliff, and he came out later that day to give an estimate. Two days later, his crew was out removing the trees. The crew at Dawson’s is highly skilled, professional, and respectful of your property. All equipment used (including a large crane) was top notch, and the crew’s high level of skill was evident. The huge walnut tree, which was 20 feet from my house was removed using the crane, and was done without any damage to my house or surrounding area. In fact, none of that tree even touched the ground....it was truly impressive to witness. I’d highly recommend Dawson’s, and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

They promptly answered their phones, showed up for an estimate as promised, and showed up on time and ready to work as scheduled. I really liked the fact that they used a crane so everything was brought down in a controlled manner, with no lawn damage. They also used a lift to get a guy up to tie off the pieces and do the cutting so there was no one climbing trees. They know their stuff when it comes to trimming as well as bringing them down. I asked them to leave me the trunks for firewood and they took the smaller stuff and turned it into chips. I will definitely hire them again for tree work, and make sure they bring the crane!

Impressed with the equipment that Dawson's has which contributed to a higher price than other estimates; BUT, it got the job done in under three hours. When giving the quote, Cliff said that his equipment was costly; but, you get what you pay for. Besides the huge oak, Dawsons took down four smaller -- foot diameter at the base and forty feet tall -- trees with poor shape because of the dominant oak. Besides a very tall crane and a high reaching cherry picker basket, the wood chipper could handle each of the smaller trees each as one piece -- "wow". Also pleased with the cleanup and that the equipment did not damage the rest of our landscaping.

Work was done flawlessly and amazingly quickly. All debris was cleaned up and removed without disturbing any of the surrounding vegetation. Special note concerning the removal of the 70' Hickory by using a crane that was essential in making sure of the safety of the surrounding structures.

Very quick in getting us a quote, and explained the job very well. Crew that came out to do the work was efficient and professional. The owner also came out to inspect the work being done, and made several suggestions on how to care for other tress in our yard.

Arrived early stayed until job was complete. Absolutely top quality work from a group of professionals who had the right equipment and knowledge to safely get the job done in less than 12 hours. Bid/contract was right on with no hidden charges. All work exceeded our expectations. They were well worth every dime!

Got a verbal quote on work from Cliff Dawson and within a day or two of our approving the quote, he called to schedule services. All services were complete within a few days of scheduling. We have used Dawson's Tree Care regularly, and they have never given us a reason to use any other company for our tree care needs. Reliable, punctual, high-quality work.

They did an excellent job and they always do. What they do generally is come by periodically and take a visual of the trees for any damage. If they feel we need to have any trimming done, they'll talk to us about that. They are very aware of the fact that there is a disease Oak Wilt in Michigan and they will only cut Oak trees during the winter. They try to warn people of when not to trim their trees. I've had companies who just hack through trees, but when they are done they really look nice. The sun comes through and thats really good for the trees. They do tend to be more expensive. I will absolutely continue to use them in the future.

Would definitely use again! Very professional and friendly. Our only complaint is that Mr. Dawson called very early in the morning (before 8:00 am) to schedule the work for later that day...and I am simply not a morning person. Unfortunately, I was not able to clean up the area under the tree to be pruned because we didn't have enough notice. The trimming crew was nice enough to clear the area for us. The crew's only complaint was that they discovered a very large "attack squirrel" nesting in the tree while they were pruning. They, the crew...not the squirrels, had a great sense of humor!

Our experience has been so positive that we now look forward to Mr. Dawson's estimate visit each spring. Although a limited budget has required us to address years of neglect in stages -- bit by bit -- Mr. Dawson always treats us as if we were his only customer. He helps us prioritize each year, offers suggestions, and always delivers a fair estimate. And when the crew arrives, they are as much a pleasure to have around as Mr. Dawson himself. This past spring, while trimming a weeping willow, they even left an Oriole nest undisturbed. Efficient, professional and courteous.

I liked this company because they went right to work when they arrived and did the job very quickly. They were careful with my property and made sure the job was done right before leaving. I appreciate the attention to detail they gave to my trees and bushes. I also liked the clean-up they did afterward.

I have to admit, I was surprised at the price at first. I checked with several friends and they did confirm that it wasn't a high estimate. So I went ahead. They were VERY knowledgeable about the trees (they are certified arborists) and did a tremendous job. I can't believe what a difference it made - we can see the sky, the trees and scrubs now have space and they already look healthier. They also explained to me how to save trees that were dying, which appears to be working. Three trees were removed. They were very friendly, and cleaned up nicely after cutting down large limbs from 30 foot high trees. Everything was so overgrown trees and bushes were being deprived of sun, water and nutrients. We were going to lose a lot of landscaping if we didn't do significant pruning. A very nice job.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY GOOD. THE WORKERS SHOWED UP ON TIME. I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL. THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND POLITE. THEY EVEN CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
