Outstanding service!! Had a large tree removed from my yard. I contacted ASG and with in a couple of days he was at my house, removed the stump and gave me a great price. Couldn’t be happier and if I ever need another stump removed he would be my first and only call I would make.

Excellent service! Called last night and after exchanging messages, got a quote by phone and said yes. Todd got me on his schedule for today and in short order the job was done. Prompt, courteous service for a fair price- what more can you want!

Todd returned my call within a day. I gave him measurements of where the stumps were located - in one case 12" from the cement porch. He removed the stumps and roots the next day while I was gone. No damage to porch or stepping stones and a nice clean up job. I dug the area with a pitchfork the following day. He did an excellent job of removing the many roots. I won't have any problems planting new shrubs. I will hire him again if the need arises.

Came out while I was at work, knocked this right out and left just a bill in the door. Super quick and easy. I would use him again in a second.

Affordable Stump Grinding ("ASG"), specifically Todd Holmes, succeeded where others failed.  In fact, Todd called back when nobody else would!  Facing an emergency situation and needing work to be done ASAP when one contractor could not grind both the roots and stumps, ASG scheduled the appointment and did an amazing job.  ASG's machine is guided by remote control with Todd overseeing every inch of the work, making sure not to damage any surrounding concrete. Because ASG's machine is guided by remote control and doesn't swing off the back of a truck's trailer hitch, it can handle tree roots deep in the ground.  Most machines stay fairly level.
Overall, the work was perfect, done in a timely manner, and all for a very reasonable price!  If you're looking for tree stumps or roots to be ground, look no further than Affordable Stump Grinding.

Todd Holmes provided a free estimate based upon pictures I sent via cell phone. Work was difficult to schedule due to persistent wet weather. Todd kept in contact until it was dry enough to schedule the work. Todd showed up promptly at the scheduled time and made short work of the job using a lightweight, track driven stump grinder. All work was completed as quoted and I was completely satisfied. Job site was left in good condition considering much of the ground was still soft and wet. Todd was prompt, courteous and professional. I consider this to be an excellent value for the amount of work that was required.

We are building a new brick patio and had to clear out a large area of stump and roots from an old locust tree. Todd did a great job. The operation was quieter than expected and Todd cleaned up well.

I called Todd on Monday evening, gave him the sizes of the stumps that needed to be removed.  He gave me an estimate based on what I told him. The next afternoon he was at my house removing the stumps!  The actual price was a little higher than the quote, but that was because I had missed a couple smaller stumps.  Todd is very pleasant.  This was a good experience!

Todd gave me an estimate on the phone for a couple of stumps to be ground down.  We agreed on the price and he came out the next evening.  Unfortunately, I did not measure the stump correctly so that threw the estimate off.  He was kind enough to work with me on a price.  When he finished grinding down more stumps than we originally spoke about on the phone, he eagerly asked, "What else do you have for me?"  He went above and beyond what was agreed upon.  He finished so quickly and went down below the surface deep enough to reclaim the areas.  He did a great job and is a nice guy.
