Rueh's Plumbing Heating & Hardware

The services we hired Rhues plumbing & heating for was all new duct work and a new plenum for our furnace.To start with it took them a month to get started and when they finally did start the project they did not have all the materials to complete the job.They did not install duct work correctly they did not seal it properly so all the heat went into the attic we did call them to come back and fix it and they sent their employee back after repeatedly having to call them. At this time they had not installed new plenum they kept telling me it was on back order  and they just taped up the holes in old plenum. They informed the mechanical inspector the job was finished so he came and inspected the job and did not pass the inspection, Rhues was informed of this but they never sent anyone out to fix the problem. The Newaygo county building department sent them notices repeatedly but, they still never sent anyone to fix the problems. After we sent them a certified letter letting them know the project was not complete and heard no reply we decided we had to take them to court to resolve the issue; at that time they called the building department back and said the job was completed even though they still had not sent anyone back out to resolve the issues. I informed the building department that no one had been out to fix the problems. The only reason it has now passed inspection is because we fixed the issues ourselves but, at this time we still have not recieved the new plenum it is still just taped up and it has been almost a year since they were hired. The house we have was under complete remodel so it was a simple job everything was wide open and easily accessible. On another note the employee they sent to do the work broke brand new tiles we were in the process of installing and never informed us just swept some dirt on it and left, The employee also put in ductwork and a vent in an area that I informed him was going to be a closet and for him to even install it there he cut out a main support, he also borrowed a drill because he had forgotten his and somehow broke the drill. We did wind up going to court but because a third party paid for the project our case was dismissed even though Mrs. Rhuemeier admitted they did not complete project because they had been on vacation in Arizona.
