 + -1 moreOn the 9th day they called with good news. After contacting numerous suppliers, they had located the part for me and were having it shipped to the store. I picked it up a few days later and replaced it myself. By replacing the part, it saved me quite a bit of $$$ since I didn't have to replace the door. Thank you so much!
Description of Work: I had a very unusual request. I had an older screen door on my home that was still in very good shape, however, the handle (locking handle) was discolored/corroded due to wear. I needed to replace the handle and asked Westland Lock and Key if they had any replacements (I took the handle with me to the store). They did not have it in stock but offered to take the part and do some research and see if they could find something for me (I had already done some research and found the part to be discontinued some time ago). They said they would call me within 10 days.

 + -1 moreI've known them for so many years. They're very helpful. If you need someone, they will respond. I think the price is reasonable. I would certainly use them again in the future.
Description of Work: I use Westland Lock and Key. They came out and serviced me last week. I had 2 doors completely re-keyed with the deadbolts and regular locks.

 + -1 moreThey were suppose to be here at 10:00 and they didn't get here until 11:00. I had to be somewhere at noon. They did not call or anything, I had to call them and ask where they were. There was insufficient time to complete the job before I had to leave.

 + -1 moreThe store was very helpful and honest about their hardware prices, They told me exactly what to get at hardware store. The installer showed up at 4 PM and was done by 6 PM. The work was great but the price was a surprise. The cost of the job came to $140 per hour.
Description of Work: They installed two electronic deadbolts and re-keyed five locks so they all matched. The job was all labor, I provided all the hardware.

 + -1 moreTHEY DID A NICE JOB. I WAS SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. IT WAS FAIRLY QUICK. THE LOCKSMITH WAS VERY NICE. HE DID NOT LEAVE A MESS. THE ONLY THING WAS THAT HE HAD TO COME BACK AND SHOW ME HOW TO OPERATE WAS THE DEAD BOLT.
Description of Work: THEY CHANGED LOCKS ON THE FRONT AND SIDE DOORS OF OUR HOUSE.
