Chris is fantastic! All the subs from Z Plumberz to tile guys and electricians were clean, neat and professional. Absolutely would use Chris and Midwest Construction again!

The service was good and great. They were very professional, they did a wonderful job, on time and overall it was a great experience.

Midwest did an excellent job on a fairly complex project. We placed a addition on our cottage built in 1935, which meant updating some items that were 80 years old. We also added new windows, insulation, redesign of roofline, siding entry, etc. Great Job.

Excellent company to deal with. We did not have to wait weeks for them to start the job after the down payment. They started a couple of days later. They did a very good job with the remodel and they did not try to up-sell anything. The price we paid was very reasonable. The workers were courteous and punctual, and they answered all our questions. We now have a beautifully remodeled room. We will definitely hire them again the next time we need any work done on our house.

Sturdy craftsmanship and reasonable pricing. Lack of attention to detail and much longer duration then was reasonable. After quote, owner rarely showed up to check on the progress/quality. Job was largely done by same crew yet several gaps in work as they transitioned from phase to phase. Carpenters seemed inexperienced. Dumpsters and port a potties, left at site for long durations even when not in use. Contractor handled ordering of doors/windows, siding and roofing materials but waited several weeks on arrival. Several mistakes were made in construction, some were attempted to rectify (recut rough openings to prosper sizes, match new to existing floor levels). All was generally satisfactory until job was almost complete -- no final walk through and several areas observed still in need of repair, poor attic venting, gutters sloped wrong way/not sealed. Strong bones but simple lack of attention to detail and finishing craftsmanship.

Work was drawn out the workers them selves work good but owner seemed unorganized and was not helpful in obtaining information. Though I paid for permits in the contract none I feel was pulled . further more what was supposed to take less than a week took several months. work was drawn out with all projects being done one at a time when we stated we wanted it done all at once or back to back but he ended up sending a crew over before a contract was signed and it ended up taking four months when it could have taken a week. besides that we had given him a list of what we wanted including models numbers and he kept changing things saying he cant get them or some other excuse so we went to his suppliers and picked out stuff all the while waiting for him. then when it came down to it he ended up getting the products we wanted anyways. it seemed he made it a lot more stress full then what it should have been. 
I could  done the stuff my self but hired him so I wouldn't have to take off work to do it my self and have it done quicker than I would have been able to. Wish I knew how he was before I even started. would have been able to do it in a fraction of the time with out the stress he caused. and by the way my wife ended up having to take time off so big wast of time and money.
over all the workers did good work  however the management is unreliable and frustrating in my opinion
