Gray's was an amazing experience at a reasonable price. Their customer service was responsive and efficient with their communication. They were easy to schedule and cut down the tree, cleaned up the remnants, and made worked with me to schedule a follow-up to remove the stump when the city was scheduled to rip up the sidewalk. I highly recommend them for any tree or landscaping work you have planned!

Our entire experience from start to finish was excellent. Tom and his team were professional in every way. They showed up on time, had good advise on our project, and were conscientious in their work. Would definitely use again.

A team of 5 came the day after I hired Gray’s to remove an aging magnolia tree and its stump, trim another magnolia, a lilac and a forsythia, and remove overgrown greenery encroaching on my backyard from the park behind my house. It took about an hour and I was quoted $1800 with a $100 discount for cash. This team did not remove the stump and fill in the hole with dirt and sod within 2-3 days as written on the work order. They told me to hold back $200 to be paid upon completion of the work. No one came to complete the stump removal. After a week I texted, emailed and called (left a voice message). No response. I believe they never intended to remove the stump.

This company was hired to grind out three old stumps that had been left by tree services that didn`t stump grinder and remove some trees behind and next to my garage. The crew damaged my fence when they dropped part of the tree on it and did not apologize. I had to pay someone to repair the fence. The main tree I wanted removed was on the lot line, and they accessed it from my neighbor's yard, leaving debris there. They also removed smaller trees behind my garage. I was told they couldn't bring a stump grinder for them because it was too close to concrete, but they would cut the stumps flush to the ground. To allow stump out to be applied. However, the residual stumps are already putting out new shoots. They told me that day. The day they cut the trees down, they told me they would send the stump grinder out on a later date. I was told to hold $150. From the payment. That I would give them when they brought the stump grinder out. They are denying that they have any responsibility for doing the stump grinding that was part of the original project. Now, I need to hire somebody else to grind the stumps.

I needed to have several large branches trimmed away from my roof. There were a few initial delays with communication, but the job turn around was extremely fast once we were able to connect. The workers took care not to damage anything and removed all of the trimmings once the job was done. I am very satisfied for the work done, especially at a very competitive price.

Grays did a great job. They showed up as scheduled, did the job quickly and efficiently. Everyone was pleasant and cleaned up all of the debris before leaving. I was very pleased with their work.

They did an excellent job ,Yes I recommend them. They cut the tree down in Detroit. Everything is excellent because they cleaned it up and hauled it all the way. So I'm satisfy it.

Service was never fully completed. Company had terrible communication. Very disappointing experience.

Grays Outdoor Services did a fantastic job removing five very large and messy walnut trees from my yard. They arrived right when they said they would, and the entire crew of seven or eight men worked seamlessly for five hours. They helped direct traffic around the work trucks so my neighbors could still drive on the street. They cleaned up all the debris from the work. Stump grinding will be completed tomorrow. Grays Outdoor Services is very efficient, and the men are professional and hardworking. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

It went great ,the supervisor was very professional and walk through the entire process we were very satisfied with the crew and especially the cleanup will be looking to do more business with this company.

Grays was awesome. Great price! The work was absolutely phenomenal. The cut overhanging limbs off my property line and cleared the entire yard of my neighbors over growing weeds. I would definitely hire them again, and refer them to friends and family!

Got the job done on time and cleaned out very good

They came when promised, got to work immediately, and within 3 hours had three trees cut down, stumped out, and were all cleaned up. Very professional crew!!!

I wish I could write that everything went smoothly with this job, but unfortunately it didn’t. So why the high rating? Well, I think it’s as important, if not more so, to know how a company will deal with situations when things don’t go well as much as when they do, and I can only imagine how difficult it is to assess, considering input from your crew and from customers. I truly feel like Grays tried to do what was fair and I really appreciate that. I especially want to say that my main contact, Robert, was wonderful. Thoughtful and reasonable, not only did he provide me with a competitive price initially for a big job, but with the mishap, he worked hard to understand what happened from all perspectives, convey the information to his boss (the owner) and come back with a final cost from the owner trying to be as fair as possible. He is a gem for this company for sure. I want to add that the owner himself came to speak with me and understand the situation better. Again, it’s not easy to evaluate incidents from all sides, but he tried to do what was right. I can’t ask for more than that. As for the tree they removed? Like I wrote earlier, it was a big job. They did an incredible job both with removal and clean up. I think it’s easy to hire a company assuming the best outcome but I hope it’s helpful to know when you can count on a company to do right by you and your family when things don’t go picture perfect.

The process went faster than I expected, the guys were very professional,and cleaned up very good would recommend them to anyone that needs some serious or light tree removal very professional.
