Rago install went great, included navigation and backup camera, and the remote start on the Freestyle was a perfect experience. The remote start on my ex wife's Kia, they found that there was already one in it from the factory and sent us to the Kia dealer to get new remotes for it saving us over$100. Top notch service from everyone there, would recommend them very highly . You don't find honesty like John and Randy in business any more. Will be using their servicesn again very soon to pour a backup camera into our daughters truck. Highly recommended.

John and his team were very friendly, fast and professional. The job went as promised. About 2.5 hours and the price was slightly lower than quoted. We are very pleased and we would recommend and use Ameristar Auto Outfitters of Westland again.

I asked them for the price and how soon they could install it. They said it could be done immediately, so it was completed in 1h45m!

I don't drive very often, so the battery was dead when I tried to start my Prius this morning. I called Ameristar to cancel my appointment. My husband was able to jump it, so I called Ameristar a second time before heading over. John Losen Jr. (owner/president) had no problem with me waiting there until they finished; however, my husband followed me in his truck (just in case the battery died). Ameristar installed specialty film on the front window and smoke tint on the rest. The hardest part for me will be remembering not to open the windows for four days. Ameristar also installed wind/rain deflectors on my husband's truck two years ago. When I asked about it, he remembers being a satisfied customer. He loves his deflectors!I chose Ameristar because of their ratings on Angie's list. Many thanks to all of you for making my experience with Ameristar even greater! John is expecting my call next week to set up an appointment for him to measure our door-walls at home and give us a quote to have them tinted as well.

They tinted the windows. I wasn't satisfied with one of them so they re-did it and gave me a break on the price. They told me not to roll down my windows for 4 days. 5 days later I look at my windows closely and they all have what appear to be tiny air bubbles. Another of the windows had clearly large bubbles on it. Also the tint doesn't go all the way up to the top of the window, when you roll it down you can see a bit space between it and the top of the window.

Everything went great.  They explained the differences between all the various types of window tints available so I could make an educated decision.  They said it would take three hours and they finished the job in two hours.

The outside moulding on my Saturn windshield had come loose and was sticking up. I have been putting off getting it fixed, because of being a woman and afraid of getting taken. Went to ameristar, told the man and showed him and he said all I needed was some epoxy, had a young man look at it and called me back outside and he said all done I asked, what I owed and he said nothing! Very professional and kind. I will recommend to everyone. In this day and age hard to find honest people.
