TOADS TREE SVC

They had quite a bit of equipment and performed the tree removal quickly, including stump grinding. Very professional, including raking up all the debris. Would highly recommend. Cost a little less because they were already in the neighborhood.

Toad's did well. They did exactly what we asked them to do, and they did it when they said they would. One of the trees was near our septic tank, and Toad's insisted we have the septic tank flagged by a septic service before Toad's arrived. That was fine--we used that as the occasion to have the septic tank cleaned for the first time in a few years. We weren't actually present when Toad's did the work. We only saw the results afterward, which were fine.

Then after dumping the face cord load in my driveway they hit me with an unexpected $25 delivery charge which is unfair and a big surprise, then hit me up for a charge to help me stack the wood in my racks.....both were free from other suppliers in the past. Unfortunately my former supplier retired.

Todd showed up on time and went right to work. Our home is in a subdivision with neighboring homes close by so simply dropping the trees wasn't an option. Todd scaled both trees with ease, bringing the trees down in sections until the final cut. They chipped what they could and hauled the rest without charging me extra. They ground the stumps down and cleaned up all branches, leaves, etc.... If you didn't know they were there, you wouldn't know - there was no sign. Todd was prompt to return calls, priced the job competitively, and completed the project at the quoted amount. I would happily recommend them to anyone needing a tree removed (and have already done so to work colleagues).

Difficult to reach. Was about 2 bus days before receiving return calls. This co. had done prior work here and it went better several years ago with a couple of trees . This time, instead of climbing trees, they brought a heavy man-lift machine that tore up my asphalt driveway in several locations. I was not told that a large lift would be used. Since the drive needs work anyway, I did not ask for repairs. Also, when taking down a tree adjacent to a bedroom window, a large branch dropped, bounced and broke through the window. I had to make plywood secure window cover. The window was properly repaired by Toad's after several days waiting for the thermopane glass to be made. One tree with a triple section trunk had two trunks yellow taped - the third was not and was to be left alone. My wife noticed that the third was being cut and stopped the cutting (I was at work). This third section of the tree had many limbs removed that we did not want to happen. Toad's does generally good work at a good price but need's to get better with the details including communication.
