Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair
This was the worst jewelry store experience I have ever had. First of all, if you enter the store dressed in jeans or work out clothes, the female staff look you up and down, appearing to imply that you don't have the money to be in the store in the first place. My daughter and her girlfriend had the same experience when they entered, and they're over 21.
It took many weeks and several calls to the store to find out what was taking so long to repair and clean my rings. After my rings where inspected and a diamond added to my mother's ring, I got the rings back. I immediately noticed the sizing spring attachments that were added to the inside of the band on two (2) rings had very sharp edges and actually scratched my fingers. Also, within one (1) week my own wedding bank had a diamond fall out (lost), and my mother's band had a diamond fall out, which I was lucky enough to see on the kitchen floor in the sunlight. Remember, the store had just checked the stones and mounts/prongs, and said the rings were all set. It took three (3) trips back to the store to have the sizing springs corrected, each time an employee would run their finger over the sharp area and say "wow, wonder how he missed that." I did too.
After another month of waiting for the rings, and many phone calls to the owner, I finally got the rings back. I still wonder when a stone will fall out. The owner could only say he was sorry, or he didn't know what happened. It was one excuse after another.
My husband told him we would never be back, and would never recommend the store to anyone.
