Glider Blinds....

Customer service and quality were both great. My painter broke one of my blinds and Mel and the company honored the warranty and replaced it at no charge.

The service was very good.

We contracted with Oscar Draperies to make custom draperies for our den. The company owner, Mel Bakalar, took all measurements prior to making the draperies. Upon completion of the work however we saw the draperies hung at varying lengths and did not reach the floor as we had requested. We immediately complained about the lengths, and he advised us that they would drop and become longer in several days. He then advised us to pull down on the drapes to stretch them. For more than two months the draperies remained their original length. When we called to advise the owner he insisted he had taken correct measurements and huing up the phone. We immediately called him and requested he take corrective action and once again he hung up the phone. The following day, he left a phone message stating there was nothing wrong with draperies and were measured and hung properly. No resolution to date.
