Dan Appliance Repair & Installation

HORRIBLE!!!! DO NOT USE DAN. He charged us $400 to fix our washer! And broke it beyone repair! Now we have to buy a brand new one.

Knowledgeable, but he wanted to charge me 3x more for the parts than what they really cost. When I confronted him about this issue, he told me that there are many fake websites out there. I ordered from LG directly and saved me almost $200 (in one part alone). No fake parts! Dan made sure to mention that he would not give me 1 year warranty on the installation on the part that I bought. He had also the courage of charging me $40 for the return that he had to make on the part that I refused. He was very defensive. If he wanted to show me that he was honest, he would had shown me the order he placed. He really wanted to rip me off!

Contacted because my microwave stopped working suddenly. Sent a request online and was immediately confirmed with the following message late in the evening: Thank you for your request, your microwave repair appointment for Friday, November 18 between 1 and 3 PM is confirmed. I work from home. Around 12:15, I missed a call and nobody left a voicemail or tried to send a text. I was on an urgent work call, and no voicemail or text was sent until at 1:16 I received the following: Microwave repair appointment cancel I responded: Ah, ok. Why? I'm here, just was in a work call and nobody left a voice message to identify the caller To which I received: You know you have an appointment between one and 3 PM you didn't call me or text me and let me know that you're going to be on a work call and I called a few times and no answer. What do you expect? So, if you want a company with customer service for a service call below that of a cable company, these guys are for you. We get it, you're busy, but I think it's reasonable you at least apply the same communication expectations to yourself as to your potential customer.

Dan did a great job fixing my dryer! I would use his services again! He called to ask if he could come to the appointment early, he was professional, prepared with his rolling toolbox, and made the repair quickly. Our heating element was out and he had the replacement in his toolbox. He also cleaned the vent hose. He tested the heat in the dryer before he left and made sure I checked, too. Great service!

I was scammed! The problem was not fixed and he will not return my $200. I’ve made numerous phone calls and text. I would like to have those who had similar problems call me248-425-1572

Awful. Dan not only ignored the installation instructions but in doing so he improperly attached my pedestal. He also grabbed my arm hard and told me to be respectful. He refuses to come back and correct his mistake. I am out $210 and have a brand new appliance that is not working because of him. Do not believe his promises.

Dan "fixed" one of the sensors on our oven. 3 months later it broke again. I haven't been able to get a hold of him since then. I had someone else come take a look, only to find out he never replaced the broken part. Only rewired around the part. The part that was broken is what prevents the oven from overheating and catching fire. My home could have burned down. He charged me almost $300 for this. I was finally able to get a hold of him a few months after it broke again and he just told me to buy a new oven. DO NOT USE THIS SCAM ARTIST!!!

Don spent 45 minutes removing unwanted ice and said it was fixed. Don charged me $160.0. The next morning the ice returned. Don would not come back to warranty his work. He said he wanted another service fee and then told me that could not get to the left side of the freezer section to fix the ice jam. We called another appliance service man and he properly fixed the problem. I would not use or recommend or hire Dons appliance ever again as he is a dishonest scam artist!!.

everything was great, except for the gouges left in the wood floor, the lack of cleanup, the fact that the dishwasher was not properly aligned, as one end is underneath the countertop, and one end sticking out 1/2 inch, oh, and it wasn't properly anchored, which means the only thing holding it in place is the countertop itself. Wonderful job. Should've realized it when nothing was used to cover floor before his tools were scattered about.

Absolutely pathetic. Repaired dishwasher but the problem re-appeared. We were willing to pay again to repair it. Initially he kept giving us time/date and cancelling at the last minute. Finally he said find someone else !! Probably the most unprofessional repair person we have ever experienced.

Dan was kind and responsive. He came to fix the washer 2 hrs after I called, on a Friday evening! I will definitely call Dan next time we need appliance repair!

I highly recommend Dan Appliance Repair! I called Dan in the later part of the evening and he was over within the hour. He quickly identified the issue and quoted the price for repair. He showed me the price for the replacement part online to make sure I was comfortable. The overall price, including labor, was very reasonable. Dan was very professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He also has a 6 month guarantee on any work performed. You will not regret hiring Dan!
