He gave a fair price on the doors and installation and came out to do the work a few days later. He had the job done in one day, hauled away the old doors and cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely hire Dollins Construction again and am thinking about having a sliding screen storm on the walk-out basement door.

Kenny dollins came and did the job. when no else would. and he surpassed my expectations.

The finished job was excellent! They removed and replaced a very large door wall. The door wall was installed in brick. Dollins arrived with a very large trailer loaded with every tool imaginable, table saws, planers, miters. nailers, etc. Once the old door was removed they replaced the old structure prior to placing the new door in. They replaced all of the trim inside and out. Every piece fit to perfection including caulk around the brick. They completed the job in one day and took the old door with them. They were extremely friendly and courteous.

When our AC did not work we worried about finding a contractor who would serve us quickly and not take advantage of our desperate need to either get the old one fixed or get a new one installed. We called Dollins Constructions and they quickly came to our rescue. The Owner Kenny Dollins answered all our questions and was honest and helped to find the best solution for us. We were impressed with how quickly the job was done and how everything was cleaned up before they left. I would highly recommend this contractor if you are looking for an honest and great job,

I made a phone call and a gentleman was at my house the following morning. Fortunately, he had the part that I needed with him on his truck. He was there for about a total of 45 minutes. Very professional and informative. I would definitely hire them again and have no problem referring them to friends and family.

Job was quoted at a good price and work was done ahead of schedule. Kenny, the owner, suggested sliding doors on the sides that make it easy to load wood inside. Dollins construction has done a number of jobs for me over the years and they always strive to please. They handled all phases from start to finish. Framing, siding, roofing and doors.

Dry wallers were awesome and you can't tell where the old doorway was. Work was done in just a few hours and looks great.

I received numerous quotes for my roof and most of them where in line. I chose to go with Dollins construction after dealing with Ken Dollins for a few other projects. The work was amazingly fast, the clean up was better than expected, and the roof looks great!

Kenny personally came out to give us an estimate and took the time to listened to all of the attempts we made to fix this leaking roof and never once made us feel dumb for what was tried.

He explained what he would do and materials he would use to fix the leaking roof.

We received the estimate the very next day for what was a fair cost.

We called to lock in a date for the repair and because this is a roofers busy season, the scheduled date was for just over a month away, but he said that he would do his best to get us in as soon as he could.

Less that a week later he called us and said he could get us in the very next Saturday!

Well Saturday came and it rained all day.

He called us and (because of the all day rain we were expecting), said that he and a co-worker would come the next day (Sunday no less) to fix our roof.

Sunday turned out beautiful and they came and fixed our roof!

He invited me onto the roof several times to show us the issues that caused the leak and to show us the materials and steps that they were using to fix the leak all the while being courteous and respectful of the unknowledgeable when it comes to roofing!

We were pleased with the work done and with the friendliness of the guys.

Yes I would definitely hire Dollins Construction again and for more than roofing projects!

A-one work.  There at 8AM and worked steady all  day.  Friendly and wonderful to talk to about any questions I asked. I w oould have them do anything else if needed down the road.

We called Kenny Dollins (Dollins Construction) after frost heave left our deck noticeably twisted and draining water toward the house.  We discussed this situation and the various options for repair vs. replacement. There was no pressure to choose a certain path. We decided to remove the old deck and replace it, making it larger while we were at it. Kenny was very responsive to our concerns about proper drainage and ensured the area was regraded. We were able to see first hand how well the water drained away from the house during a heavy rain just after this regrading.  He also discussed with us possible materials and design options for the deck, encouraging us to think these over before making a final decision.
The Dollins crew was very nice and always professional. The work was high quality.  They pay great attention to detail, e.g. only the best boards used, cuts clean and straight; and the final product is beautiful.  The job site was left clean at the end of each day. Everyone was friendly and pleasant to us.  I was also impressed with Kenny's interaction with his his crew, giving instructions, answering questions, and giving correction when necessary, with patience, clarity and respect.  We would be happy to have Dollins Construction back for a future project and would recommend them to others.

In June, I contacted Kenny based on a recommendation and he came out to give estimates for work on a house I was buying.  The main job was to address issues with the support beams in the basement. It was clear what the problems were, but the work required to was a big job, and I was relying completely on their expertise.  Kenny was able to provide a couple of different options and price points to decide between.  I wouldn't know how to evaluate the actual work, but I will say that another contractor doing some work commented that it looked good!  Overall, the crew was friendly and professional, and I was kept up to date on the progress, given a tour of the changes, and the work was completed on schedule.  I'm happy with the decision to go with Dollins Construction, and would (and have!) recommend them to others.

I contacted Dollins Construction to continue some work in my attic after they had done some other work earlier in the summer.  Kenny came out to inspect the area and identified the stages of the project, answered all my questions, and provided an estimate. To address some electrical issues, Kenny contacted and scheduled an electrician to come out, which was a big help as opposed to finding and scheduling someone on my own.  Another bonus was having Kenny haul away some of the items that came down from the attic - another big help.  Happy with all aspects of the work. I wouldn't hesitate to have them back for another job, or to recommend them to others - Kenny is very skilled and knowledgeable in a variety of areas.

Kenny Dollins and his crew were professional and courteous.  Kenny (the owner of Dollins Construction), was always available by phone, email or text.  He provided a fair and reasonable quote, with details of the work to be performed.  He gave honest opinions, explained what was needed, and also advised what would be the best options for our home and the reasons why.  Kenny answered all questions without hesitation. 
The new roof on the house and workshop look amazing.  The job was done in a timely manner.  When we arrived home from work, we were even told by neighbors how well the crew worked, they didn't play around, they did the job, and did it well.  Everyone from Dollins Construction went above and beyond what was expected.  They cleaned up the entire area when they were done, checking and rechecking to make sure everything was perfect. 
It was a pleasure doing business with Dollins Construction, and I would not hesitate to call Kenny Dollins for future home projects.  Would recommend Dollins Construction to anyone that needs roofing, construction, or any other type of home fix up/repair project.

Kenny first discussed the different types of shingles and recommended the ones that would work the best for my situation. He explained all the different materials he would use to do the job right.

They were very thorough in picking up all the old shingles and nails. I didn't find any nails laying around, which is important because my animals are housed in that barn.

Kenny Dollins was quick to respond to my initial request for an estimate. l was provided one within days. He is very down to earth and what I respected and enjoyed, he was not a pushy salesman. Kenny was able to start on my home within days, but probably because of the need I was in with a gaping hole in my dining room and roofing needed as well as catching him towards the start of his busy season.  Kenny always answered his phone, and if he needed to call me back he did so quickly.
Kenny and/or his workers were at my home each day, ready to start by 7:30 a.m. and worked until 4:00 p.m. It was often times hot outside and I rarely saw them take a break.  They all worked extremely hard. (there were even a few times someone even came on the weekend for a short period to finish up a project quickly). 
Kenny and his workers were conscientious about covering the floors in my house to minimize the spread of dust.  They cleaned up every night. At the end of the project, Kenny made sure that all newly acquired materials (siding, etc) were stored in my garage where I wanted them.
 
No detail was missed.  Kenny did not take short cuts and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. 
I completely trusted Kenny and his workers.  They were provided the code to my garage and a key to my home.  I went on vacation during part of the time work was being completed and never had a concern.  They were a wealth of knowledge and very helpful when it came to making decisions about my home.
I feel like the price I was charged for all the work was more than fair. 
I never doubted Kenny's integrity.  He is very straight-forward, which I found refreshing.  I am overjoyed with the work he and his crew did!  I am more than happy to refer him to family and friends.

From beginning to end, everything went very well.  Kenny Dollins, the owner, was very professional - provided proof of insurance and current builder license with the estimate (didn't have to request it).  Kenny was very responsive to any questions or concerns.  The workers were clean-cut, polite, on time.  They worked efficiently - no cell phone use, no smoking, no wasting time.  The area was left practically spotless at  the end of each day.  The workers wore fall-safe equipment and were tied off as required by OSHA.  Everyone on the crew went above and beyond my expectations.  The final cost of the project was exactly as estimated.  I highly recommend Dollins Construction, Inc. for any construction project, including new homes.
