Mark Kenyon Items that show poor workmanship/ professionalism Took over 5 1/2 months to do a ?2 month? job Signed contract 10/7/09 passed final inspection 3/24/10 (5 months 17 days.) Had to be reminded several times of what had to be completed. ___________________________________________ INSIDE Walls not square/perpendicular so bath tile angles off under the vanity and in shower. Heating vent not parallel with the wall. ____________________________________________ Closet door hangs below the molding, exposing the glide rail. Did not set screws in straight on the pocket door handle so they hit the frame when it was opened or closed ___________________________________________ Screws holding the Linen closet door were stripped, causing the door to fall off when opened. Cabinet doors and fronts not squared ____________________________________________ Silicone along sink top edge smeared onto drywall and missing from the end of the right splash strip. ___________________________________________ Sink top scratched and chipped. We had to argue with him and finally had to demand that he replace the bath wall tile because he had installed it wrong leaving varing grout lines and used sanded floor grout instead of unsanded grout ___________________________________________ Bath tub not caulked and left very dirty Bath shower tile grout not coated with silicone sealant Gap between bath floor tile and molding not filled. Tile not cut so vent cover didn?t fit. ______________________________________________ Bath lights still not even, the right hand light was 1.5? higher than the left. Left large dent and cut in bath wall above bath cabinet where the end piece was cut off crooked. _____________________________________________ When we wanted what he did done better, he would whine and argue with us. Extreamly immature. Threatening to take things out of the house if we didn?t pay him before the job was complete. Had to be told how to do things - OUTSIDE Brick mortar not cleaned from brick face in many areas. Holes left around foundation / he gave away so much of the dirt dug out from the basement that there wasn?t enough to fill in around the foundation. Did not replace fence that he took out for construction. Installed the eve trough so that water leaks back under the eve FINAL INSPECTION Electricity did not pass twice Mark Kenyon would promise us anything but rarely followed through without us having to remind him - he was not good at doing the finishing work and lacks pride of workmanship.
