They met their time (and cost) commitments and fixed some code issues while they were at it that our other plumber (in 2007) hadn't bothered to take care of. Highly recommend this firm (and I don't usually do reviews).

He quoted by the work required, not by the hour which I found extremely refreshing in this day and age. I accepted the estimate presented which included the price if just the sink and vanity had to be removed and the price if the toilet had to be removed also.
The removal was necessary for Jason the remove the drywall to locate the leak. Jason removed the vanity, removed a very large area of drywall. He was able to locate the leak and have the necessary access to the pipes to repair without removing the toilet.
Jason worked steadily but did not rush! This I appreciated very much. He was concentrating on doing an excellent job versus hurrying in and out and collecting payment. Before beginning work, Jason protected my floors from the entrance he used all the way down to the 1/2 bath.
Once explaining and showing me the problem and what would be needed to repair the leak, he took a few minutes to write up the repair estimate. He provided the option of replacing a portion of the main drain with cast iron and replacing a portion of the connecting service drain pipe that flowed into the main. He also quote a price for running a complete main drain from roof top to the floor in the 1/2 bath and replacing the affect portion of the service drain to the main. I opted for replacing just a portion of the cast iron main and replacing the affected portion of the service drain. Jason explained that the lifetime of the cast iron was very long thus the two options. He was not trying to up sell, he explained it was an opportunity to "upgrade" that portion of the plumbing if I desired. To be honest, I was very shocked how reasonable the price was to replace the entire main in the house.
Jason reassured me that the option I chose was an excellent and lasting repair.
It was necessary for Jason to return the following day to perform the repairs. It is time consuming removing and cutting into drywall when there are active water pipes also in the wall. Jason asked if he could carry the vanity out into the garage and place it in an area that it would not be in my way. Naturally, I said sure and he placed it where I designated. He cleaned up very nicely, left the work area very clean and tidy. He rolled up the covering over the floors to prevent anything from dropping onto the floors or stairs. He removed all the drywall and tile taken down and carried it to his truck.
He stated he would arrive between 11:00 am and Noon on the next day. He called to confirm he would arrive at approximately 11:45 pm. He was prompt once again. He covered the floor area again from entrance to the 1/2 bath and thoroughly explained the necessary steps to repair the pipes. He completed the repair around 3:30 pm. He tested the repair by running water in the different areas, kitchen, upstairs bath and verified the leak was repaired. He carried out the pipe he had replaced explaining I could use it to show my insurance company. I explained that I wasn't going to turn it into my insurance. He then said that his company recycled and he'd put it on his truck if I no longer wanted or had a need for the pieces. I told him to please take it to be recycled.
Jason cleaned very thoroughly, wiping down the existing walls in the bath, he had placed a protective pad on the bathroom floor prior to beginning his work. He removed that and cleaned up the floor too. I had told him I was replacing the floor and he was conscientious enough to place the pad covering on the floor and tape it down anyway. He was most respectful of my home and avoiding interfering with our ability to access the stairway from the family room near the bath upstairs to the other rooms of the home.
Jason took the precaution of nailing a strap up to support the upper portion of the main cast iron drain. He explained that in removing a lower portion he did not want the upper portion to shift down.
I've scheduled for Jason to return in about a week to run a new section of drain from the kitchen sink in PVC and replace the baskets and plumbing directly under the double sink. This is possible because the cost to repair the leak was most reasonable. That is how very pleased I am with Superior Plumbing Heating and Cooling. Jason is an experienced and knowledgeable technician, courteous, respectful and polite.
Superior Plumbing Heating and Cooling will have my future business for all three when required. Highly recommend!
