Nelson Plumbing Heating & Cooling

OMG... We had a horrible experience ! Rick Nelson the owner of Nelson’s Plumbing on Dixie Hwy, Waterford is Mr. excuse. Dan (plumber) replaced tub shut off's in 1st bath and installed tub & shower faucets in 2nd bath. Once the water was turned back on everything was leaking, he had to go back stop all the leaks which took a good hour. They never could get the sink drain to seal correctly, so we are without a bathroom sink. We were concerned so we contacted Rick regarding the fact that his plumber has been here for over 4 hours and everything was leaking his (Rick’s) response was “Well, It’s plumbing and there is going to be problems”. Now we are going to spend more money to hire another plumbing to hook up our sink faucet drain seeing Dan could not do it without it leaking (it never leaked prior to his visit, we just wanted matching faucets now we cant even use our sink UGH, what a joke! Beware, we would not recommend this Company!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service,

We had no water in our shower/tub before a long holiday weekend. They were able to be here within 45 minutes to address the issue.

Says it was drain. Replaced drain. Already leaking again 40 days later. Warranty is 30 days. Screwed.

worker cut access panels and installed valves and faucets. valves were installed fine but plumber installed one faucet to turn counter-clockwise (not per instructions). we corrected after plumber left as he seemed a little miffed when asked about it. plumber also did not clean up work area before leaving.

Great.  Quickly identified that it was an issue with the toilet tank and fixed it right away; figured out how the water got to the basement ceiling.
I've used Nelson's for years and have always found them prompt, reliable and honest.  They won't try to sell you something you don't need.

I spoke with him because I need someone to look at my sink. He said it was going to be $90 just to walk in the door, and then it would be $90 for the first hour of labor. Parts would also be in addition to this. He seemed to have a poor attitude during the call.

They did a great job! They came when they said they would and they did what they said they would do. They did it very quick and accurately, and they were very pleasant!

Great as usual.  Always punctual, always tries to find the least expensive solution to the problem.

They were great. They were very nice and professional. They were here on time. I was very pleased. They cleaned up after they were done.

he did a good job explaining everything he was doing.  He did an excellent job!  They came out very promptly.  It went out in December so we needed it fixed quickly.  He even followed up the next day to make sure it was up and running.
