They sold the business to TeamShares who brought in their own office staff. Chuck who is the new biller will charge you beyond what should be charged on any project. He charged us $600 to tie back 7 small plants and to remove/dispose of 20 little black garden fence edgers. After I complained he started to belittle me, accuse me of complaining, calling me names. He then reinvoiced me with a zero so I didn’t have to pay with a note saying they are no longer do business with us. We have Ben with this company for over 10 years with the original owner. I would not have these people service your property because they will scam you

Had an amazing experience with Corey and Lake's Lawn. They were incredible from the very beginning and were quick to answer any of my questions. They were open and honest with me - and I never once felt like I was unsure about a decision. The crew that worked at my house was extremely professional and did an incredible job with all the work. Great communication - and great flexibility. I would without a doubt hire them again. Highly recommend.

Consistently arrived well after snow had stopped, I'm talking 6-8 hours. I shoveled drive in front of garage to get out. They obviously have too many commercial accounts and residential customers take it in the shorts. Terrible service!!!

"We go out after the snow stops so that our crews do not have to go through their routes twice. We are humane and do not want to ask them to work 24 hours straight. Our goal is to get to our clients either before they leave for work or before they get home in the evening, depending on the snow event and the duration, however snow is not a perfect science. We always do the best we can to get to all of our clients in a timely fashion and not put too much on our men. We are very reliable, are prices are competitive, we do not have many commercial accounts and we've consistently received A's from our clients for 20 years. You did not reach out to us even once with a question or complaint. Had you made us aware that you were displeased with the timing I may have been able to make changes on the route. To put this terrible review on here with an F grade is really unfair. It's too bad you weren't willing to communicate with us in January or February while we were providing you with service. To do this in April when everyone is quarantined due to this horrific virus is not right. I would have even been happy to take you off the schedule and give you a refund. We're always willing to try to make our clients happy and bend over backwards to meet their expectations. I've also reached out to you to discuss this matter by phone, but you didn't not answer or call me back."

Lake's did an excellent job on my yard. Their crew cleaned up our landscaping beds (which had seen a fair amount of neglect), edged and mulched them. There were a couple dead bushes that they pulled and they also trimmed several bushes and trees. Throughout the day, they asked a couple questions to make sure that the work they did was in line with what we wanted. The crew did an excellent job on the work and their cleanup was fantastic. I would definitely hire them again.

The whole experience was great! Corey walked me through my options, understood the problem, and designed a cost-effective solution to my problem. It has so far done what it was intended to do. The workers were very knowledgeable and really took care in what they were doing. They were true professionals. There are too many service companies nowadays that send out half-*** workers who take zero pride in their work. Not Lake’s Lawn & Landscaping! These guys are craftsmen and take pride in what they do and do it **** well.

They are excellent to work with. Corey came to the house, walked the yard with me to determine the scope of work, and provided and estimate. We called during the busiest time of summer, so we had to wait a few weeks for them to perform the work, but it was well worth the wait. The crew arrived when promised, they were pleasant and professional, and did a very nice job on our yard. We are completely satisfied.

We had some landscaping work done last year and it was fine. I wanted to do additional work this year, adding some plants, etc. Corey came by and offered a few suggestions. He told me that he would get back to me with some plans/ideas and a price estimate, but I never received anything. After posting this review, I received a voicemail from Marsha telling me to check my junk/trash folders and appearing to blame me for not receiving the estimate, without any apology. Corey eventually did send the estimate (and I confirmed that I never received it). Corey was apologetic, which I appreciated, and the company offered to rearrange their schedule to complete the work quickly. However, my husband and I will be using another company for our landscaping needs in the future. I did not get the feeling that our business was valued until I posted this review.

"We truly value each and every client. We did do a job for Bill & [Member Name Removed] in 2017 and were happy when she called back for additional work. We met with her on May 10th and sent out an estimate within 24 hours as we always do. We didn't hear back from her, but since it has only been 15 days we thought perhaps she and her husband were thinking about it or getting other quotes. Upon receiving this review I reached out to her, left her an extensive message on her voice mail with my personal cell number and offered to get the job done within 1 week even though we are booked out a ways on our schedule to try to accommodate for the lost time. I also offered her the Angie's List discount and am re-sending the quote that she didn't receive today, Saturday of Memorial Day weekend while up north. We take our business very seriously, work while on vacation and do everything we can to assure A service from start to finish. I am so sorry [Member Name Removed] didn't get the quote, perhaps it is in cyber space, but nothing we have done warrants a F grade. I hope she reconsiders her grade and revises her review. Thank you"
