The installer arrived on time with all the parts required to do the work. The work was completed and a thorough briefing was given on the operation of the system. This installation was completed in March of 2012: in March 2014 we experienced a small problem with the filter, the owner and one of his techs were at the house within the hour and corrected the problem.
I cannot speak highly enough for this company. They do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it at the price they quote. They are completely professional and expert in their area.

Additionally, it's not our practice to "pass the blame" onto someone else, in this case your plumber. If we were at fault, then we will admit responsibility. There was no place to install the watersoftener in laundry room. The salesman, service guys and owner put their thinking caps on and came up with a solution.
They installed the water softener in the garage on the wall adjacent to the laundry room. Because the garage is not heated, they designed and built a well insulated box around the softener. Of course, if it is really cold, we will monitor the temperature.
While doing the install, they also replaced a turn on/off valve. The valve was plastic and could have broken the next time someone turned the water off. The installers saw a problem waiting to happen and fixed it.
The softener is great. Waterford water is nasty. It leaves water spots everywhere and was ruining my dishes, glasses, sink, and my hair.
I would definitely use Douglas again. They went the extra mile for this installation and I am very happy with the results.
