Two men installed a great water system in our newly purchased old home. Just purchased new appliances and did not want the rusty well water to destroy them. The job was done very efficiently and very quickly. So good to turn on the faucet and not have to wait for the rust to clear and the water just tastes and no more icky smell.

First, the sales representative came to the house to inspect what we had and evaluate what would be required. He fully briefed us as to what was available, advantages of all the systems ect. A date was set for the installation and a arrival time of the installer.
The installer arrived on time with all the parts required to do the work. The work was completed and a thorough briefing was given on the operation of the system. This installation was completed in March of 2012: in March 2014 we experienced a small problem with the filter, the owner and one of his techs were at the house within the hour and corrected the problem.
I cannot speak highly enough for this company. They do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it at the price they quote. They are completely professional and expert in their area.

Big deal! I got the owner on the phone for him to blame my plumber, who was never there. Right? He was a complete jerk on the phone. Never apologized! Mind you, I spend at least $100.00 on salt with them every six weeks and have for 5 years. That's how you treat your valued clients? I would never recommend this company knowing what a total jerk the owner is.

"[removed member name] Regarding my voicemail I left last week, I want to sincerely apologize for the way our company handled your situation as described in your review. As I mentioned in my voicemail, we are a small company who takes pride in providing the best customer service for our customers and what you described in your review is absolutely not how I would have liked our company to handle your situation. We have 3 owners for our business (myself included) and I apologize for not personally handling your account when the situation arose. Additionally, it's not our practice to "pass the blame" onto someone else, in this case your plumber. If we were at fault, then we will admit responsibility. In this case, it was our fault by not taking the system off bypass. I have personally spoken to my team regarding this and want you to know that this is unacceptable on our part. I realize this is coming 6 months later than you would have liked, (my apologies as I just saw your review a couple of weeks ago) and I understand you were offered free salt for the inconvenience which wasn't acceptable. With that said, instead I would like to offer you a free Pre & Post Filter set for your Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System so that you don't have to purchase them yourself next time you need to change them. I will even personally come out and change them myself and apologize in person. I hope that we can earn your trust back as a valued customer and you can forgive us for the way we handled the situation. Went extremely well. My wife was here during the service. She could not say enough good things about the technician and his professionalism. Technician explained not only what he was doing but explained in detail everything that is in our water conditioning system, how it works and how to take care of it. Very pleased with service and would definitely use again.

Douglas Water Conditioning This was a Filtering system. He came out and did a test to show us what would be best for our type of water. Then you had the choices of how you wanted to filter your water, but we also know what we had, we are on well water, we have arsenic in the water. We knew we had to get that filtered out. We do like the well water. We don't have to pay for it. But you have to get it tested because areas around here does have arsenic in it through the rocks I guess. We had the filter systems. We have a well. It's somewhere underneath. It's a spring. We are on a aqua fill, like a stream. It's hooked up to our kitchen unit and we were able to decide what we wanted to filter out and everything. We just have a filter there so we cook with it and you know. This works real good, it's a good company, I would refer them. Price and knowledgable and professionalism was really nice. They send a guy out to talk to you, he gives you an estimate and then you they come out it's a pretty simple installation.

We were having trouble with rust in our water. Over the phone they diagnosed that we had iron deposits in our arsenic tank and it needed to be recharged. They took the tank over night and brought it back the next day. Their prices were reasonable (we checked around) and their techs were professional. They answered all our questions. We will use them again.

Sales Rep was able to come to our home on a Saturday to discuss the water system options and test our water to determine our needs. We ordered the new water conditioning system and we were able to have installation the following Tuesday. Our neighbor replaced his water system in 2012 and recommended Douglas Water to us. After one week, we are pleased with the new system and the employees work at Douglas Water.

Great service, very customer orientated.
There was no place to install the watersoftener in laundry room. The salesman, service guys and owner put their thinking caps on and came up with a solution.
They installed the water softener in the garage on the wall adjacent to the laundry room. Because the garage is not heated, they designed and built a well insulated box around the softener. Of course, if it is really cold, we will monitor the temperature.
While doing the install, they also replaced a turn on/off valve. The valve was plastic and could have broken the next time someone turned the water off. The installers saw a problem waiting to happen and fixed it.
The softener is great. Waterford water is nasty. It leaves water spots everywhere and was ruining my dishes, glasses, sink, and my hair.
I would definitely use Douglas again. They went the extra mile for this installation and I am very happy with the results.

They came out twice before hand to check my water to ensure my old water softener was not working correctly. They were very quick to respond to my calls and offered evening and weekend appointments to meet my work schedule. They did a very nice job at installing my new water softener and cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend them to others who need water testing and / or water conditioning equipment.

They called 2 or 3 times to make sure everything was still fixed. The VP even came by my house to make sure everything went well. This is a great company to work with.
