My floors look fantastic!  Friends and family cannot believe that these are the same floors.  Totally transforms the look of the house.  Given that these were original floors and quite old, Deon did a great job of pulling out the character of the wood. I spoke to the guy who was doing the sanding and he was very knowledgeable about what grits to use and in what order to make the woodgrain pop. 
The crew did have to push the start date back by 1 day from what was originally planned, but that did not set the project behind.  Took 2.5 days to complete 700 sqft.  The crew was on time and professional.  Deon saved me hundreds of dollars from another quote that I had gotten and I don't feel like I got anything less.

Arrived the first day and removed all the carpet in the 3 areas. returned to install the flooring and it took approximately 2 1/2 days for the installation and an additional 1/2 day for the final finish and polishing. They were extremely courteous and clean, every day when they left they cleaned up the area of all debris, sawdust and material and removed all the trash from the premises. They also made sure the outside areas they worked in we cleaned up every day as well. They were also very flexible and accommodating of our schedules since we both work and our daughter is in college they were not able to start at 9:00 every day some day's it was 1:30 and they were even willing to and did work on Saturday and Sunday to complete the job and work to our schedules.



I would recommend them to anyone. The quality of work, cost, value and courtesy was outstanding.

Nice floor and professional work. One complaint: They were suppose to replace a molding on the wall and never did it is still bare (and looks terrible, one year later). I called them three times and each time they promised to come out and fix. But, I never saw them again.

They were to come back and do some touch up work. He contacted me and said that he would do this and he told me following week he would come one day that week. I tried to contact him to get a day or a time set that he could come. I have been calling and texting and have never received a return message.

The interaction with them was fine.  They merge two floors together and did a very good job.  The floorist was fine but anything beyond that is not  a good service at all.

The story I wrote above from start to finish. Everything went well.

Also known as "Hardwood Floor Pros" and Woodfloorproz.com. Beware. Got estimate for refinishing one room and stairs. Needed a match to the existing finish on the floors which I did myself. Was told it would be no problem and overall, Deion was professional and punctual. I thought the estimate sounded low, 350.00 for a 10x12 room and 13 stairs, but he seemed confident and I got another estimate that came in around there but I liked the vibe I got from him so I had him do the work. And I'd give him an A for professionalism up until the actual work being done. When the work was completed, my girlfriend was here but I was not. They were paid (and cashed the check THAT night.) I came home and saw the job and it was a mess. The floors were completely rough like sandpaper, crap and dirt and bits all in the finish and the grain was poking out all over the place. Dust all over the entire house, after I was told it was "dustless system" and they wouldn't need to hang plastic. (Which seemed unlikely to me but I trusted it) Wrong. Looked to me like they coarse sanded the wood and never got down to buffing the wood, cleaning, tacking, screening, nothing, no real care was taken. It looked like one coat on top of a coarse sand done with a dirty applicator. I was shocked they'd think the job was done and that Deion considered the work good enough to take payment. It should have been obvious that the finish was all wrong, as the rest of the floors which I did myself, are smooth and shiny like refinished wood floors are supposed to be. Called Deion and he was responsive and apologetic, said they'd come back tomorrow. So they came back, and did a little more to smooth it out. Nope, still rough, still junk all in the finish. Not even close to done in my book. I'm still thinking they never got a good smooth sand on the wood to start, and it looks and feels terrible. They also kept saying that they couldn't match the finish on my floors because it was oil based when I KNOW it isn't because I did it myself. They are water based....I told them I would have settled for a match in smoothness, even if they couldn't match the color exactly. So I called and Deion again and told him it needed more work and he said they'd come back a third time to fix it. He was supposed to come by the same afternoon and he disappeared, never showed or called. Nice. Time to move on. They've got my $350.00 for something I'm going to pay to have done again. Strange thing is I actually liked this guy and his crew seemed nice. But the job done here was a joke. Either they are too busy to care about small potatoes, or they just don't share my standard for what quality work is. I will say I guess you get what you pay for, the cost seemed pretty low.
