Chris and his team were recommended by a number of members of our community. They came out to address a leaking shower and bathroom for us, but more than that they got to know the dogs, played with the kids, and took interest in our lives while they helped us out with a serious problem that ended up needing a total demo renovation to bring the space up to code. We were included every step of the way and worked with us while we worked on reimbursement through our insurance company. Their work is truly outstanding and we love the beautiful new space.

Chris and his team worked cooperatively with us on designing the changes, and then did an excellent job on the actual remodel. All issues were dealt with immediately and without any problems. We were extremely happy with the results.

We were given a quote of $30,000 to $35,000 for our kitchen. During our estimate, we went over every detail we wanted to be done and that was what he quoted for, or so we thought. As the weeks went by, he kept wanting $5,000 each week after we had already paid him $15,000 to start the job. We kept asking him about the budget and were told we would only be a little over. We added a subfloor,they rebuilt a soffit and had a duct reconnected. We did not move plumbing, electrical, or walls. It was rip out and replace. As the project went along, things we thought or were flat out told were part of the $35,000, we found out were not. We had to buy the sink, faucet, garbage disposal, knobs, and backsplash. Then today he demanded another $5,000 making the project $40,000, said he also needed another $5,000 for next week and we would still need another $4800 for countertops. When asked about massive overages (almost $15,000) we were told that he had not paid the HVAC people yet, cabinet guys, or had any money set aside for backsplash (even though it was in the original quote) or countertops. He claimed those things weren't part of his usual work. All of these things were in the original quote. I have never heard of a contractor who works on kitchens not having a contingency account, tile budget, and countertop budget. We refused to pay him anymore without a detailed list of where every dollar had gone to explain this massive overage. He refused and packed up and left. Our kitchen is in shambles, we lost $35,000, and he even left a live electrical wire hanging in our basement. He was very difficult to get details from and never seemed to remember what he had told us. We have no idea what he did with our $35,000, but you can't quote something and then add $15,000 more at the end. I doubt even that would have been the end of it. Now we are left to try to finish this mess. Do not trust this man with your money or project, you will regret it.

The owner is quite unprofessional. He did not provide an itemized cost of the project, blames you for going over budget, (purchased unnecessary materials). He is very rude to clients, tells you if you don't like his work to "go to Craigslist". Would not recommend him, please stay away.
