"We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. We highly recommend JAM Home Services for anyone with home repair or improvement project needs!"

"Nathan and Steve did a beautiful job; it turned out much better than I had dared to hope. The interior of the apartment was pretty beat up and required lots of prep work. They had to remove tape residue from window casings, smooth out chipped trim, repair cracked plaster, etc. This project took several days and they were very good about leaving the place clean at the end of each day. I had a lot of material for other projects on site and they covered it up and worked around it without a problem. Very professional and very pleasant to work with."

MHI was not the low bid, but Tim's professionalism with the estimate made me confident that MHI would do the job correctly. We experienced a massive fishfly invasion the day Tim's team came to do the painting. Tim decided to take the removable pieces back to the shop to do the work. (This meant adding a round trip from St Clair Shores to Troy to the job). They used blowers and built a plastic tent around the one load bearing post that could not be removed to keep it fishfly free during the process. The repainted shutters and porch trim look great!"
