Bob's Custom Trim

Bob's Custom Trim did a wonderful job installing seamless gutters! The new gutters, downspouts, and leaf guards look amazing, and we've verified that they're working great in the rain with no leaks. Bob was very respectful and honest with us through the entire process. When he realized that there was an error in our favor on our quote, he never asked for a single cent more and didn't even mention the mistake until we were casually chatting after I'd handed him our payment. If that's not good, honest business, I don't know what is!

Bob and his assistant inspected the entire area where the leak could be originating and found that the builder had failed to attach the Tybak material over the doorwall creating a water leak path into the house. After Bob had correctly reinstalled the Tybak the leak was finally stopped. We waited through several months and heavy rainstorms to ensure the leak was finally stopped. 2 other contractors and the original builder had failed to determine the cause.

During this time Bob and his assistant were very professional and went to the time and  trouble to show me each step they took from the original cause  of the leak to the final repair as they went through it.

Everything went extremely well.  Bob was able to find the problem with water leakage into the garage which the original roofing company could never find.  The bottom flashing between the house and garage was missing and needed to be installed.  Also, he replaced several panels of the aluminum where it met the garage roof and installed a J channel which greatly improved the appearance and function.  Bob also recommended the fan fold insulation under the soffit around the double front doors as a solution to winter frost on the drywall surrounding the doors which had been an ongoing problem which others had been unable to solve.  He also pointed out that the large window above the doors needed to have caulking as this also could be adding to the problem.  He was very punctual, knowledgeable, and provided invaluable assistance.  Everything was completed in a very timely manner, and left in good order.
