I am so impressed how quickly George got my old flooring removed and installed the new flooring. He removed all the flooring and installed laminate plank flooring in my entire condo. This also includes removing the tiles in 2 bath room floors and gluing the new flooring in the main bathroom. I am also impressed with the quality of his work and all the attention to detail.

I called two previous tile installer’s and they never called back. YCH was the only company to call back and not only did they call back, but kept in touch, answered all questions about cost, time, and scheduling, but kept the quote at the price given and arrived on time at my house. George Empson did a fantastic job (including his assistant Antonio). I allowed them inside my house while I was at work, they finished their job quickly and cleaned up their job site. They installed a kitchen area of 234 sq ft of porcelain tile. The tile and grout look great and I appreciate his and Antonio’s work. I have recommended them to my co-workers and will hire him again, which I have already discussed with him too. I have a bathroom project to complete later this year or in 2018. It’s difficult to find good contractor’s that you can trust and that do great work. I will keep George Empson’s name for future work and will recommend him to everyone that is in need of tile work.

They were awesome. They were really honest and practical; it was really hard for us to get an estimate on our floors. I had four contractors come from our area, and three of them would not tell me how much they were charging per square foot. They would provide me a vague, ballpark estimate, and then drop off an estimate with a huge charge. But this guy was able to give me a detailed estimate based on the square foot pricing, material, and labor over the phone, came out and gave me a step-by-step plan for the job, and was able to start within a week. He came in at half the price of the other guys. It was so awesome and easy. My floors are beautiful!

Job went great. Project schedule was set and and adhered to. Project progressed at a good pace and we are very happy with the finished project. We have received several compliments on the flooring and install. George and his team did a great job, were professional and met every expectation we discussed regarding the project.

Showed up early and was very professional and had a helper. He was quick, courteous, and helped me figure out the angles to make it look the best. The whole job took approximately 5 hours or so and that included the carpet tear out, laying the new floor, and toe molding.

Our sub-floor was "wavy" and pretty uneven. George wanted to use a specific type of shim and he called his supplier right on the spot to get the exact price of the supplies he would need.
When his son and his employee came out to do the installation we had wanted to have them leave the laminate untrimmed and unfinished where we had wanted them to stop at the family room. We had decided that we were going to extend the laminate out into the family ourselves. George didn't miss a beat. He didn't change the quote or charge us extra to apply leveller at the point where he was to stop.
The job took a considerable amount of self-leveller and it was not setting up quickly so his son decided that it would be best to let it set up overnight. I am glad they waited. It needed a good 8-10 hours to cure properly before the flooring was laid over it.
They came back the next day and did a GREAT job! Looked awesome and we were able to tie right into their work seamlessly.
I highly recommend Your Choice Home Improvement for any laminate flooring job.
I DO NOT recommend Laumber Liquidators though. They are money-sucking flooring jockeys. That is best for another review though.
