Ultimate Home Makeover

We hired an attorney.

They did more than they should have - Edison came out and said that they didn't need to do all the expensive extra work. They wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible. I found out from the city that no plumbing, roofing, or electrical permits had been pulled from Ultimate Home Makeovers; this should have been done before the job started. They've made many critical electrical errors that need fixing already - one includes wrapping the wire around the tree. They've also run wire along a hot air duct & under studs (with no clamps) which is a fire hazzard & against code.

Horrible.    Basically, had a stamped concrete patio put in 9/1/11 which wasn't sealed right at the beginning.   They were supposed to reseal it in the spring 2012, but didn't do anything until August 2012.   By this time, there were cracks and numerous other problems with it.    Because they subcontract their cement work, they depend on the subcontractor to fix the situation.   The subcontractor feels it's not his problem and therefore I have a 1 yr old patio that was supposed to be maintenance free that I paid $3700 for and can't even enjoy it.    While I preferred to have the patio replaced, they insisted it could be fixed.   I gave them the chance to fix it and they "started" the job, but here it is 3 weeks later, they didn't finish it and my lawn furniture is still in the middle of my lawn where they moved it so they could do the repairs.   One of the owners of Ultimate Home Makeover hasn't even had the decency to come to our home to inspect the damage and/or offer any solutions.   I've been patient for a YEAR on this, but unfortunately, have no alternative now but to sue for the damages.

It went very well. I was overall pleased with what they did and how they did it. They cleaned up well and I would use them again.
