It was great.

I scheduled an appt for Today (Tuesday) with a window time of noon to 4pm. This appointment was scheduled a week in advance. I waited until 3pm to check for an updated time and I was shocked to see 5:45pm-7:45pm. I took the day off work to have my fridge repaired. I called customer service and I was told they would reach out to the tech who would call me with 15-20mins. He called over an hour later, passed the time he should have been at my home, only to CANCEL. He said he was still working on a previous appointment and would not make it to me. At 5:45pm I called back to customer service and while holding for 15 mins, I received a text moving my appointment to June 27th. This service was absolutely horrible. I was told there was not a supervisor available. I cancelled the future appointment and the warranty service plan that I signed up for.

If you're looking for appliances at Sears, make sure you check the specs. Here is an example, I was looking at a dryer at Sears, and it didn't include the light on the inside of the dryer. I looked at Lowe's and found the same dryer with the light included and it was cheaper.

I have 4 things under warranty with them. I have my furnace, washer & dryer and my air conditioner. It cost nothing, it was under warranty. They were pretty good, the did it really quick and they were probably out of here within 40 minutes total. He’s very on time. Just one worker. When they came in it was clean, when they left it was clean. They know what they are doing.

Everything was good except the storm doors. When they finally got around to my storm doors the front door was the wrong color so they took them back. Then, three months later they called me one day and said they finally had my storm door ready and wanted to bring it out the next day. They called me the next day and told me they were sorry, but somebody stole the doors right off their dock. So I waited two more months and I called the big shot in Chicago, the Sears CEO. I left a message on his machine. So they knocked a couple of hundred dollars off my total bill and I finally got the storm doors put in three weeks ago, after five months. But as far as all the other stuff goes including the siding, trim, gutters and garage they were all very good. I am very satisfied with that. Sears has good, better and best. I always buy the best. Knocking off the couple of hundred bucks was chicken feed, they should have given me the doors for free. They did a great job on the house. They caulked every inch and I know they did a very good job. It was a little pricey, but I know the quality. I know quality when I see it so you get what you pay for. Sears has been around a long time and they have one of the best warranties. Their pricing is average. I did not really shop around and did not spend months shopping around. I knew they would give me good quality and that is what I wanted. Everything went pretty smooth except the storm doors. I will call them for a roof in the future.
