Elite Tree Service

Don't do business with this company. I paid $3000 in July 2024 for yard clean up and tree trimming after a neighbor's huge oak tree branch fell and left debris in my yard. I had one very large dead branch on my own oak and wanted it along with other dead branches trimmed. Roger and crew showed up as scheduled and did a good job cleaning of the yard debris but only trimmed about 1/2 of the dead branches in the oak. The large branch that I specifically hired him to do did not get trimmed because Roger told me that DTE needed to trim that branch as it was above the primary electric lines. DTE came out a few days later and told me it was not their responsibility and to have my tree service take that branch down. Since then, Roger has committed to coming out at least four or five times to complete the job but has not shown up for any of the scheduled appointments. It's been over four months and he no longer even responds to my calls or texts. I had another tree company quote completing the job and was quoted $700. The last time we spoke, I told Roger that he could either refund me the $700 so I could hire the other company or to complete the job. He promised to finish the job but never showed or called. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and hope that Roger does the right thing. I am a senior citizen and living on a fixed income and should not have to pay another company to complete this work.

Great! They arrived promptly, worked quickly, cleaned up and were gone in the flash of an eye. I was really impressed. They did everything on their quote which was cutting down trees, tree removal and cleanup. I would definitel use them again.

Came in on time with a large crew and a large truck.  Worked really fast and cleaned up perfectly.  Never knew they were here and tree looks better than expected.

I referred my daughter to several tree trimming companies. Roger B. from Elite Tree Trimming came out immediately, provided a quote and re-assured my daughter he would remove all the branches hanging on the house and garage. He guaranteed her, she would be satisfied with the job. My daughter expressed to Roger on 12/5/12, when the branches were trimmed, she was satisfied with the amount of branches trimmed from above the garage. He told her he had other jobs pending and would return to trim additional branches. To date, the company hasn't returned and no longer will return her telephone calls. She shouldn't of payed for the work until she was satisfied with the entire job. Company did a good job in trimming branches from home. She has informed her neighbor not to use company due to her dis-satisfaction. After looking at the job Elite Tree Trimming did, it doesn't appear branches were removed from above the garage, if so, it was only a few.

Brian came out promptly, gave us a fair price and set a date of service. Unfortunately he injured himself an was'nt able to do the job as scheduled. He did call however expressed regrets and set up another appt which went well. We were pleased with the work.

After having received several estimates from other tree services, but no shows to perform the service, I was very frustrated. A neighbor referred Elite Tree Service and used them with good results. Roger came out for a quote very quickly and performed the service within a few days. The job was performed quickly and they cleaned up nicely. Elite Tree Service even cut up some of the wood for my fireplace. I was very satisfied with their responsiveness, price and customer service. I would recommend them highly and use them again if the need arises. Thanks Roger!

Elite came out, and performed the service, as agreed to. They were excellent, what more can you ask for?

I phoned Elite after checking them out on Angies List. The call was returned promptly and we made arrangements to get an estimate. They arrived promptly and we agreed to start at once. A crew of 4 completed the work in about an hour as described and left leaving me with an excellent impression. I'd definitely call them again when I need similar work done.

Elite came out promptly to do an estimate, then when we hired them, returned to do the work a week prior to their estimated time of doing it. The two branches were hanging over the house so one of the men shimmied up the tree and onto the branch to tie it so it would not fall onto the house when he cut it. He did the same for the other branch and the white pine. The total job was done within two hours. The tree branches and trunk was removed. The stump was ground down about 6-8 inches below the soil. Great job! We're very pleased and would recommend them.

He was responsive with his quote and his service. He actually came a day earlier than expected on his own initiative because it was going to snow the day we had planned to have it done. The yard looks great-he got all the trees we had marked and cleaned up the yard. Except for the stumps, which he is going to come back and grind down when the ground freezes, you can't tell the trees were ever there. He didn't leave branches and he didn't damage the yard at all. We were very pleased with his professionalism and performance.

The owner returned my call and gave estimate the same day. Workers arrived on time four days later. They were courteous, speedy and professional in their execution, and thorough and attentive in their cleanup. I would highly recommend this company.

They arrived as scheduled. I asked if they could remove the two evergreens at the base of the pines since we hadn't gotten to them over the weekend. They did so for a nominal fee. When they trimmed the maple branch, they discovered that it was hollow in the middle. He then removed the entire diseased branch at no additional cost. The owner said that he couldn't leave the branch because it was only a matter of time before it came down on the house. It was much more work then we originally had asked for. They were in and out in less than an hour. My children enjoyed watching them work. They did a great job and I've already recommended them to two friends.

This work was excellent, A-Work. They gave me copies of their insurance along with their estimate. They were very professional, returning my call that day and coming out two days later. The clean up was excellent. The crew worked rapidly and did good work. I was very satisfied!

Elite was able to come out to our house for an estimate the day I called. They promised to do the job within 2 weeks, but were able to come in about half that time. They recommended alternatives in an effort to save the tree - it had grown so tall and large, we reluctantly anticipated having to remove it. They climbed into the tree to thin the branches - no heavy machinery was driven across our lawn as previous companies had done. Their clean-up was complete, and the price was a bargain compared to other estimates we received. We are extremely happy with the work that was done.

It went very well. He came out to quote the work the day after we called, and apologized for making us wait. We needed the tree removed quickly, and they were able to get done on time, only took a couple hours, start to finish. They cleaned up nicely, when finished. The price was fair. We recommend Elite Tree Service to anyone, and they will be the first ones we call next time.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY CAREFUL WHEN TRIMMING THE TREES. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO OTHERS AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN IF NEEDED.
