Eastside Fence

Customer service is lacking at best. They called at the time they were supposed to be here for an estimate to let me know they'd be 30 minutes late. I had to call to get estimate emailed to me. I asked for an updated quote with a different type of fencing almost two weeks ago with no response. Have left 4 messages on voicemail and have had no response. All I wanted to do was get it done; these guys are obviously too busy to worry about my money.

The initial contact with them was prompt, and the repair was ok. My first concern was when, upon completion of the repair, I paid cash and they would not provide me with a receipt. He said they didn't do that, and the office handled it. How hard it is to have a simple receipt book on hand? Most people don't want to hand over a bunch of cash with nothing to show for it. Upon closer inspection, we noticed that the gate that they re-hung was not straight and didn't seem securely fastened/tightened. I called them back and asked for someone to come fix it properly. They scheduled a date to have someone come look at it (5/4/17 - 2:30pm). Nobody ever showed up. I called their office at 4pm to ask what was going on, and got no answer, so I left a message. The next day I waited until after 11am to give them a chance to call me - they didn't. I tried calling again, and they did not answer. I had my husband call from his number, and they answered right away. Conclude from that what you wish. The person who came out to look at it said he thought the gate itself was "drooping" and was the problem, but he would send someone to tighten it. He came back today to do so, and stated again that the gate was droopy. To me it looks like it is crooked, and it wasn't like this before, but I am tired of dealing with it so I guess it will have to do.

Eastside Fence is a great company to work with. They were able to get my fence done quicker than I anticipated which I am greatful for since the old fence was barely hanging on. They did a good job tearing out old fence and installing new chain link. I have no complaints. Office staff was easy to work with and they gave a great price. Use them, you will not be sorry.
