Bob Wyckoff, the owner, came and gave me a free estimate, which other companies wanted to charge for. He told me my well was 42 years old and needed to be replaced. His estimate was very reasonable. They drilled a new well, put in a new well pump and well tank and answered all my questions, which were numerous. I am a single woman and wanted to understand what was happening and Bob, Glen and Taylor were patient, explained everything and especially Bob and Glen were very knowledgeable. They even planted grass seed and put down straw where they had dug up my yard. I had very poor water pressure. I couldn't run the washing machine and do dishes. And I didn't have enough pressure to run the outside sprinkler and water my grass, even if nothing else was running. Now, I can run whatever I want. I have better water pressure now than I had when I bought the house 13 years ago. I would definitely recommend Wyckoff Well Drilling.

This company sets the bar for service excellence. We returned from vacation to no water in our house on Friday evening of Easter weekend. We called at 7:30 on Saturday morning. Bob was great on the phone and promised service by 11:00. Glen and Taylor were here at 9:30 and we had water by 11:30. They were pleasant, polite and efficient.

They were pleasant, polite and efficient. Quickly confirmed that we needed a new well pump and had it installed in under 2 hours. The guys cleaned up any debris on our walkways from the installation. Pricing seemed fair and Glen explained our installation. We had water well before noon. Can not say thank you enough to this wonderful team.

The process went great. Bob came out to my house within a few hour and said they would be able to start the next day. It was very nice to hear and he stuck with his word and was at my house at 10am the next morning. They did an excellent job and exceeded my in all levels. my wife and I are satisfied customers.

We arranged a Thursday morning meeting to inspect my low water pressure. They were on time and confirmed that a new pressure tank was required. We confirmed to have the tank replaced on Saturday morning since they had 2 wells to dig a head of me. Before my tank was replaced, the pump burned out. They had brought one of those with them and had me back with running water in less than 3 hours for a new pressure tank and well.

I am new to the area and on the advise of my neighbor (and reviews on Angies list) called Bob Wyckoff regarding my malfunctioning well tank. He came out promptly on time and confirmed that the well tank needed to be replaced. We then scheduled an appointment for today, Saturday. (I was very appreciative that he could come on a Saturday as my work schedule would not permit a regular M-F appointment). Bob came with Glenn, exactly on time. There was a particularly difficult issue as the well tank was installed within the kitchen cabinet and to get the old broken tank out took a lot of creative work. I was pleasantly surprised they were able to make it happen and installed a brand new well tank. The new one worked great! Bob and Glenn were particularly personable, explained everything and answered all of my questions. We also discussed winterizing the cabin and he showed me exactly what he would do and how he was going to do the winterization. I was very very satisfied. I will use Bob Wyckoff again for any well/water related issues and winterization.

Turns out the vertical well pipe is corroded and stuck so they were unable to pull it out. Where the well is situated, they didn't have access to bring in their bigger equipment. Determined we either need to drill a new well in a different location with better access, or hook up to city water for outside needs. We will do the latter. We appreciated that Wyckoff tried to fix the current well and when that was not possible they gave us a fair and honest evaluation of our options. The charge was very modest for their work.

I called. Thirty minutes later they showed up. Professional, friendly, talkative and a great sense of humor. A pleasure to have at my house. Showed me everything that was going on with my well and pump. Explained the details. When it was over, my pressure was much stronger, pump is whisper quiet. He cleaned up and left everything looking terrific. He worked very efficiently and with a confidence that left no doubt in my mind that he knew exactly what he was doing. He even helped me change out my sediment filter in the house.

Responded very fast; saved us on a night where we had no water and guests coming over. Patience on the phone trying to walk us through assessment of problem.

Mr Wycoff replaced the pump and charged me$1600.00 and was supposed to come back to put a new Cap on my well which I paid for. He then informed me he blasted compressed air down my well to clean my point which I did not ask for, and charged me $600.00 for that which is part of the $1600 I paid him. My well started pouring water out of the well head and flooded my yard and house. I called Mr. Wycoff and he told me I now had an Artesion Well. Before he Blew compressed air down my well without permission, I did not have an Artesion well. Mr. Wycoff would not stand by his work and would not return any of my calls. I have called other well companies who refuse to get involved. Other companies told me I need a new well. I cannot fathom how Mr. Wycoff's company is on Angies List. I would never recommend Mr. Wycoff for any well service. By the way, I live paycheck to paycheck and cannot afford a new well, my house floods continously now and my outside structures are rotting from water in my yard. my water was tested by a water service and I have oil, benzene, and other contaminates in my well that were not in my water before he blew compressed air down my well without my permission. I have been dealing with this since spring 2013 and finally borrowed money to get a new well which is why I was looking on Angies List.

We decided to use Wyckoff because they were very knowledgible, answered all of our questions, gave us a good quote, were recommended by other homeowners, and had not pushed us at all to do the new well after finding the old pump stuck. We are very happy with the results now that the job is complete. Our pressure and flow are great and our water hardness is about half of our previous well. We can now put out a sprinkler and take a shower at the same time. We should have done this years ago. The equipment installation in our basement is very neat and professional. We opted for a "cycle stop valve" on their recommendation, in addition to the normal on/off switch which gives us a constant 65 psi when the pump is running. We needed a smaller holding tank because of this feature. In all we were very happy with their work and will use them again if our equipment needs servicing.

Wyckoff arrived on time, and quickly diagnosed that it wasn't a frozen line. They quickly pulled the well pump out of the well, showed me it was broken, and installed a new one. The entire process took less than 2 hours. I had water once again. Being it was one of the coldest days of the year, their tools kept on freezing, and they did the job, kept me informed and were professional the entire time. If I ever have another issue with my well, the first call with be to Wyckoff.

It was just transferred to a new owner and we are happy with him.  We think the other man was tired and ready to make the change. The first time around with him we found him unresponsive at returning calls, but the new person is much better.  Being able to schedule a date and time and following up on it could be improved because there was some back & forth on that.

Great. Made sure twice that the tank needed to be replace, and set a time to come and kept at it till the job was finished.

My well hasn't been functional for quite some time (only used for the outdoors) so replacing the pump turned out to be a challenge. Broken parts here, items not up to code there, and then only to find out that the tank didn't work as well. The price added up quickly but Wyckoff kept that in mind and found ways to keep the price down. I finally have water outside again and my lawn and flowers couldn't be happier. I had previously written a review that they did not show up at the scheduled time or return my calls which was true. However, they went above and beyond to rectify the situation and unfortunately I can change my previous review for the work completed.

I left a message with Bob on the 07/18 outlining my problem. He promptly returned my call and set up an appointment for 8.30am the next day. He arrived on time, asked a few questions and within an hour had sorted the issue out. There was no new parts required so he only charged for the call out and I was very pleased with the service.

Glen from Wyckoff came out to look at our well and let us know what our issues were. He didn't try to pressure is into buying things we didn't need, beat the other guy's prices by leaps and bounds, and even brought over new filters...and didn't charge us for them! Not only that, but whenever we call him, he shows up at our door within hours at no charge and explains things to us so that we understand what is going on, then leaves us to research and make our decisions. He is patient and makes sure all of our questions are answered before leaving. We are new to the world of wells, and i HIGHLY recommend Wyckoff...particularly Glen. He is a gem! He goes above and beyond any call of duty and is REFRESHINGLY HONEST! Wyckoff is the best. Everyone else felt like sales people on the phone, but not Wyckoff. When we told him we wanted to purchase a new part, he said not to because we simply do not need it! We were shocked because their competitors said we did need it. It felt like a family member was over telling us how to do things. He even said he would teach us how to shock our well in the future, so we didn't have to pay someone every year.  We called many competitors, but will always call Glen. They are truly amazing! Words cannot express how awesome this company is.

On Sunday 11/29/2015 my wife informed me that there was low water pressure in the house and she heard a buzzing noise in the basement. I came home to shower and had very little water pressure. I called Bob about 6:30 pm and described by problems. He gave me an estimate over the phone for an easy fix about $27 in parts and $85 service call for a pressure switch, also for an expensive fix if the well pump was bad which was about $1900. He advised me that he would be out Monday morning at 08:30 am. He arrived promptly at 8:30 am. Very pleasant and personable on meeting him. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a control panel issue where the the well was cycling on and off and not building water pressure. He called Glen and he arrived with 15-20 minutes and replaced the wall mounted control unit for $70 and $85 service call. All this was done within one hour. Both professional and friendly.
