My gas log set in my fireplace was 25 years old and it was leaking gas. Charlie came over and noticed that right away. He fixed it all and replaced some parts. The fireplace gas log set is better today than all the time I used it in the past 25 years. It looks better, burns brighter, and looks more realistic. Other fireplace shops that I checked to find a repair person, immeditaley tried to sell me new gas logs instead of repairing what I had. New logs run about 600-800 dollars. In the future, I win only be using The Grate Fireplace Shop whether it is for repairs or new gas logs because they did such a great job.

Visited every wood stove store in western Wayne county trying to find a saleperson who knew their product and would wait on customers. I did my internet research, but still need a saleperson to explain the features of a particular unit - why is that so hard to find? Someone told me out this place in Walled Lake where I found this great store that easily is knowledgeable about products, answered all questions, had installer out SAME day to check fireplace opening, etc. Did a great job installing insert and chimney liner. Don't bother wasting your time in the other stores just drive out to Walled Lake and then sit in your toasty warm home. Goodbye big gas heat bill!
