T & D SLURRY-COAT LLC

Have a very large driveway and large pad up top. Existing driveway was in very poor condition (several cracks, loose areas, missing portions). Had asphalt repair performed (by others) before T&D could apply the slurry coat. Slurry coat applied in August 2021. Took very long to dry (we are in a pretty wooded area, so expected longer drying times..no problem). We did not drive a vehicle on it for 2 weeks. Was also told to NOT seal the slurry coat until 2022 (probably my first mistake). Looked AMAZING the first day-monthish. By late September, early October, thicker areas started to crumble away on top wherever tires would turn. Crackling on thicker areas started to show, still not a huge issue at the time. Fast forward to Feb 2022 and now March 2022. The slurry coat is crumbling and peeling everywhere. Even areas where tires never touch are failing. The Driveway looks worse than before. So disappointed. I know this route was more of a repair, but definitely didnt think it would fail this quick. I was told how much i would love the new driveway. Now I am forced to spend more on resurfacing with another layer of asphalt. Buyer beware. They were very busy so time between estimate and application was a couple of months, but Tom informed us right away regarding his schedule.  He called in advance to let us know he was coming and arrived and completed the job in one day.
We also had concern for a couple of small areas that collected water and they came out and filled those spots at no additional expense.  The driveway was very cracked and broken up and slurry coat has filled in those spots, so it looks almost new!  So much more than just a seal coat!  An added bonus is the surface is not texture which makes it much safer to walk on when wet or snowy.
