JOE MAHER WELL DRILLING INCORP

Called Maher for a quote for tank replacement at my business. He showed up looked at the job left but didn’t quote. Came back a short time later I was not there told my people he was there to replace tank which he did. Told manager I would be receiving a bill for $1400 that was twice the amount others quoted. I called to complain that he never quoted and did job without authorization. We argued about price so he came back removed his tank cut all the lines did not replace my old tank and left. Ended up costing me an extra $200 as other quote intended to use some of the old plumbing that Maher took with him. He then called all the well people in the area to tell them not to do business with me that I dont pay my bills. This guy is bad news Beware!!!

Very unprofessional individuals. Would never hire again, even if there are future problems with this well.

Joe was friendly, courteous, and explained everything in person and on paper so I knew exactly what I was getting.
He was on time and bleaned up before he left.
I definately would use him again and I will be telling my neighbors about him also.

Will use joe maher wells every time

Joe and his crew were prompt and professional. We spoke with Joe on Saturday he started drilling Monday And by Wednesday morning we had a working well.

Joe was very responsive, came to look at the problem( leaking well tank) the same evening, and repairs were completed the next day. The new tank was taller than the old and after the job was complete I had trouble changing the sediment filter (which was not installed by Joe.) Joe came back and relocated the sediment filter at no additional charge. I would not hesitate to use Joe's services or to recommend him. He will be my first choice for any future issues with my well system.

Everything went extremely well(pun not intended).
Having spent the summer with strange noises coming from the water system in our basement and the fall with varying water flow in the house faucets, we decided to called Joe, as he had drilled the well for us in 1998. He came out immediately and found that the bladder in the pressure tank had ruptured. He replaced the old style pressure tank with a top-of-the-line fibreglass one in less than 2 hours but advised me that the pump in the well may have suffered from having had to continuously switch on and off to recharge the system whenever water was being used in the house. Sure enough, once or twice per day the pump would take about 10-20 seconds to kick in(usually when somebody was already lathered up in the shower). Joe initially replaced the switch that controls the pump but that didn't work and the pump got worse, so we decided to go ahead and replace the pump with the and quot;slow startand quot; Grundfos pump that he recommended.
In less than half a day Joe and his helper pulled the old pump with its elecric cable and feeder pipe, fed compressed air into the 70ft deep bore-hole to expell the water with its accumulated sediment and contaminents, installed the new pump-cable-feeder pipe assembly, cleansed the well with chlorine, reconnected the well-head to the house and set our water conditioner to re-cycle itself.
Lesson to be learned from this experience is and quot;call for help as soon as something sounds wrong with the water pressure tankand quot;.
