I spent the next month trying to get a contractor to come out and repair such a small amount of tile (less than 10 bullnose tiles). Luckily we were having some other work done in the house and that contractor helped us out and repaired all the tile. Once I did finally get it done, we scheduled a day to have them come complete the work. After no one had shown up an hour after I there were supposed to be there, I called only to find out they forgot to put us on the schedule. They did make it out that day, but the interactions between one of the installers and my wife were less than comfortable. When she brought up a concern to him part way through the install, she was told "Kevin signs my check, so I only do what he says." Needless to say, less that a stellar customer service attitude.
Then, when Glassworks installed the door and partition glass, it was noticeably short. It was short by more than the width of my finger (around 3/8 to half an inch). They just filled this large gap with silicone caulk. There was also nothing on the vertical edge of the door to keep water from coming out of the opening between the door and the fixed glass wall. I had to buy a seal on my own in order to fix this.
I brought this up to Kevin who, now that he had received full payment, was no longer interested in helping to fix the problem. I was simply told to "Enjoy my new shower" and he would no longer respond to any of my texts or calls.
So beware. If they break any tiles, they can't and won't fix them. Make sure it is 100% to your satisfaction (and in line with estimate) BEFORE you give them final payment as from my experience, you will get no more assistance once they are paid. And don't be mislead by how professional the sales pitch sounds, because the execution of the work is average at best. These guys were my highest estimate, but I thought I'd be getting what I paid for. I did not. Anyone could have busted tiles and left me with a nearly half inch wide gap filled with silicone.
