Plumbing
I did not choose Mike as the plumber on our kitchen remodel, he came with the company we got our counters from. He was on time for the faucet and dishwasher install. First off, he did not have a part for the dishwasher install, so instead of going himself to make sure he got the correct part, he made us do it (having no clue what we were looking for) so he waited at our house until the part arrived. Finally the part arrived and it came in a package of other parts needed for installing a dishwasher, but he only needed one of the parts (which after looking under the dishwasher after he left, he did not use any of the other parts in the package, but took them with him). He finished the installs and I told him that he could take the old sink, faucet, old stove and cook top/hood from out in our garage for scrap, which he did. When my husband returned from work he noticed that the copper pipes he had set aside in the garage away from the other appliances was gone as well. He took that too. He left a mess under our sink when the garbage was right next to the cabinet and asked to use our bathroom and did not wash his hands afterwards....yuck! The next day I went to run our new dishwasher for the first time and turned it on and it ran for two minutes and stopped. We pulled it out and noticed it was leaking pretty bad. He had failed to tighten up the junctions correctly. They were obviously offline and he also did not hook up the wiring on the dishwasher correctly causing it to not get power. I called and he said he would be at my house within the hour, 3 hours later he finally showed up, with his wife/girlfriend and adjusted the junctions and rewired the dishwasher. He also had to tighten up the valve under the sink as that was leaking as well. I feel like he was dishonest and took things from our site (copper piping, and unused plumbing materials that we purchased) and did not do a professional job as he had to come back for two different leaks and rewiring. I have used other plumbers in the past ans will be returning to their services in the future.
