This contractor began with promises to do everything to get me back into my home as soon as possible but that changed when the company actually began work on my home. The major problem to be corrected was mold from water damage. I'd had a mold specialist come in to evaluate the damage and was told there was mold throughout the house and basement. This contractor broke all the regulations for getting rid of the mold before painting my walls in spite of the fact that he also claims to be a mold specialist. He was told to rip up the subfloor in my main bathroom where the majority of the damage had been done. Instead, he quickly covered the subfloor with new tile so, when the mold specialist came to do the final testing, the house would pass. This was the smae thing he did regarding all the walls in my home. He was difficult to get in touch with and was often very rude and dismissive when speaking to me. His crew worked spiratically rather than consistently--meaning, they might work two days one week, and three the next. There were several weeks when they didn't work at all. Some weeks there'd be four guys working and others when one guy would be on site. My bathroom was gutted except for the soffit which should have been taken out, also. The two lights were to be repplaced with one light which is what the contractor and I had discussed. However, the soffit was never removed despite repeated (and I do mean repeated!) mentioning of this to the contractor and workers. New drywall was put up and I was so completely disgusted with the company that I told them to forget removing the soffit and bought two new fixtures which they did eventually install. This is just one examples of hundreds where these workers and the contractor were negligent with the restoration of my home. The paint job was so sloppy--one of the workers, for unknown reason, applied a bandaid near a light switch on the wall by my front door which another worker simply painted over! My friend noticed this one evening when we stopped by to check on what had been accomplished that day. She began to rip off the bandaid so the workers would have to remove it, repair the damage, and repaint that area. They did remove the bandaid but never spackled/repaired the wall--they just painted over the damage! There were holes left by nails that held pictures that were never spackled until I reminded them several times about it. Only then did they finally spacke the holes and repaint. it was like this all the way through the restoration. They just wanted to get through the job as quickly and cheaply as possible withought any regard or pride in their work. My husband and I were told by the mold specialist that there is still mold under the covered up walls and floors. I would never recommend this company for anything.

I had mold in my house due to a flood. My house sat from May to January 2012. He didn't start doing things until March. The contractor was suppose to follow protocall with the environmentalist before doing the work, due to the flood. He failed to do this and didn't follow the rules. The crew that he had, said that they didn't know they had to wash the walls, prime, then paint then and show documentation of it. He didn't promise what he said he was going to do with the environmentalist. He didn't give me any warranty papers or recipes. He gave me a few things, but he didn't give me the actual ones I needed for the job.

Went well overall. Pete arrived on time, addressed all questions, and was very professional.
