Square 1 Renovations

They took out a bathtub and broke the tile and made a shower. They turned a bathroom tub into a shower.

I called another company that was my second choice. They said the additional $1100 made no sense. I called the owner of square 1 back to get clarification and she said the shower had no pan and that is why it was leaking. In any event, I hired this other company. The shower DID have a pan. There are no complications with the drain. This other company of course is also waterproofing the entire substrate. I really would be hesitant to use square 1 for a bathroom remodel. I really do not think they have the expertise to get the job done. They did promptly return my deposit

I used Angela Sellick over 2 years ago to install about 1500ft of laminate flooring that was donated to me. I had interviewed several other flooring contractors, but was immediately impressed with Angela and her team. They completed 1500ft of laminate and it came out beautiful. Her workers were always on time and very trustworthy when I left them alone. Now, 2 years later, the floor still looks great and I plan on using her and her team again in the future. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The estimator Rick showed up on time so all good on that end. The price was also comparable and within 3k of other quotes. The reason I decided not to choose Square 1 was that I can not find ANYTHING on the internet including reviews that this company has performed work like a complete roof tear off let alone install shingles. I also don't like the fact that they advertise as Square 1 Renovations however do business as a Floor Covering company. I did a drive by the company and it was only a very small office. Also, I found a review that stated Bond Bilt referred someone to Square 1 and I know for a fact that Rick worked at Bond Bilt as he came to my home for the same quote and worked for Bond Bilt at the time.Previously, I decided not to go with Bond Bilt due to past reviews. With all the information I gathered, I feel that Square 1 is using Bond Bilt as a subcontractor since Square 1 is actually a flooring company and the last thing I want is to use a company that don't perform their own work or use other companies with bad reviews. I decided to put off my project until next spring but to keep researching other companies with good reviews within their line of work.

I thought it was to expensive for the amount of work discussed

They exceeded my expectations they showed up on time everything was ordered on time ready for installation so there was no down time on project, crew was very personable and professional, and the project came in under budget . I look forward to doing business with them on our downstairs bathroom.

EXCELLENT! From start to finish Angela was great. We made an immediate connection with Angela, when she first arrived for our appointment. Floor Coverings International was not our first quote, but it was defiantly our last. Upon arrival for our appointment, Angela had brought over several great ideas for our bathroom. Her tile installer Giuseppe was very friendly, and his tile work was awesome. I would definitely recommend them to any family or friends. I will be using them in the future for all of my remodeling needs.
