I hired them for the old house and now the new house. Would not use anyone else.

They were very good to deal with. The electricians were professional and helpful. They made sure I was satisfied with the work. Overall, they were a nice group of men.

I sent Nick a text message in anticipation of some hot weather that was predicted for the next week. He responded an hour later, replying that Kevin would be at the house on Monday at 8am. He arrived at 805am and fired it up, completing the check and startup service in approximately 1/2 hour. Nice and frosty in the house now. Secondly, I recommended Lakepointe to a buddy of mine when his AC unit gave up the ghost during a hot stretch. It took Nick a week and a half to get out there due to the hot weather and all of the jobs that he had stacked up. However, Nick had advised him that he thought he could fix his AC unit instead of replacing it. (Several other companies came out and recommended a complete new AC system at the cost of nearly $3k. All stated that his 5 year old system was too old to get parts and recommended replacement.) When he arrived, he reviewed the problem, left for about an hour and came back with a replacement condenser for inside the furnace. Total cost-$840. My buddy is impressed.

Nick and his assistant, Kevin, arrived on time, calling before to announce their pending arrival. Once at the house, they divided and one went outside, disconnecting the outside A/C compressor, while the other went inside and began disassembling the furnace and A/C condenser. By the time that they broke for lunch, all of the old system was ready for the recycler, (which I like-less in the landfill), and the new system was in place ready for installation. At 730pm, they called it a day, with the furnace working sufficiently to warm the house. Nick explained that he was obligated to a home show the next day, but Kevin would come and finish the remaining items. At 9am, Nick called to report that Kevin would be later than thought, because he had to respond to a trouble call where one of his customers was without heat. Kevin arrived on site at about 11am with sheet metal and all of the stuff he needed to finish the job. By 4pm, the furnace was purring nicely with a professional finish. One room in the house was cold in the winter and warm in the summer, and Nick included repairing the problem into his original bid, which was not the case with some of the other bids obtained. His bid, for a top of the line Comfortmaker 95% furnace with a ECM blower motor (all stainless steel heat exchanger and two stage burner) and a 13 seer A/C system (anything larger in Michigan is just overkill-we use ours about 4 weeks each year), was $1400 less than the nearest bid. When he gave his bid, he said he wanted the job. I was concerned about going with a company that had less than 20 years of experience, but Nick and Kevin were both experienced professionals, having worked for other companies for a number of years before starting their own. They left the jobsite cleaner than they found it and I am very pleased with their work and response to calls. He does not advertise other than word of mouth and I will be recommending him and the company to all of my friends. A great find.

I would recommend them to anybody. They were really good and the two guys that came out to do the work, were really super.
