Too many issues to detail. Starting from the unannounced tear out of the old drive just days after mutually postponing the job until the following year. Think about the problems that created. Backed out on the promised compensation worth $2K of additional work. First truck of cement set up so fast the crew could not work with it. Sent truck away but a good portion had already been dumped. Cured in 2 colors, some flaking already and looks horrible.  Grade flows back towards the center instead of onto the grass.Drive is now narrower. Finished the job well into the dark using car lights and flashlights. Porch did not have a permit which the township has sent 2 letters to rectify but to no avail. It's also an embarrassing eyesore. Removing their equipment hardly constitutes a clean-up. My suggestion is to not use them simply because the risk/reward is not worth it, especially when their prices can easily be beat. Good luck.

They were horrible. It has been just over a year, and there are cracks everywhere. They made an error with a color in one area on our porch. That part sticks out like a sore thumb. When they came to do the work, he immediately asserted that he was a Christian, and began badmouthing Angie's List.

first of all, kc masonry was not the low bidder by any means, of the estimates i received.

Ken impressed me with his explanation of the whole process from a to z.

unlike all the other quotes i received, k c's was for steel re-enforced concrete .
the other bidders bids would have been higher if metal was desired over the plastic
I'm still wondering whether i made the right decision since i may relocate.
but that's water over the bridge as they say, & i'm a great admirer of

quality workmanship & everyone that worked on this project adhered

to this concept. i am very satisfied indeed with all services performed
& the 3 yr guarantee was far better than the other contracters

Things went very well. I was kept informed of what was happening on the next day.  Company was very professional.

did a good job tearing down part of the chinmey and rebricking. they did not put any thing down on our driveway to protect it from falling brick. they charged extra to put sealer and a chimney cap on the chimney. the chimney cap that they put on blew off and bent a couple of weeks later. we called and asked for a new cap and reinstall. he said ok and would send someone out. we called 3 times. he never to this day never come back with a new cap to put on the chimney. we held up our end of the bargain by paying them the money they asked. they didn't keep their end of the bargain!!!

Obviously we were subject to weather, but once "our turn" came up, the work was done quickly and efficiently.

Workmen came when specified and worked steadily until the job was completed, into the evening.  The work was adequate, with solid masonry repair.  Not especially pretty, though, cement smeared liberally onto the bricks.  My real beef was that the waste lime solution was simply dumped on my lawn and I was picking chunks of cement out of the grass -- or where grass used to grow -- for most of the subsequent summer.  A roof leak that developed that summer at the base of one of the chimneys may or may not have been related to the boots tramping around on the cold shingles.  Would not recommend.

I would highly recommend them.  They completed the work to my specifications.  They were a little on the pricey side, but I felt that they were trustworthy and they did a great job.
