Flatrock Concrete did a beautiful job! I am so happy with how the house looks now!

Let me start off by stating that I was initially happy with the final product however, after some time has passed, I'm very disappointed in the finished product of the driveway. Let's start with the crew first; they simply did not respect the fact that they were not at their own homes and left Monster cans, cigarette boxes, and food wrappers in my lawn. As for the driveway itself, the final product was substandard and after only 1 year, the driveway has a huge crack right up the middle of it crossing at least 10 feet. I called Kent a few months ago to find out if this is normal and he told me that, because of Michigan winters, there is no guarantee on concrete. It's funny to me though because I've read a few other reviews where he gave 3 year guarantees against cracking. I have to wonder if this is normal or because he simply didn't want to come back to redo the job. I was told that he would come by to check it out "if he was in the area" but of course that never happened. Now I just have this huge crack in the middle of my year old driveway that I have to hope doesn't get worse? I don't understand the standard of service for this company.

Flat Rock and Kent Moore are awful.  While he is responsive, truck is clean, and appears knowledgable, the final work was horrible.  His crew was dirty - smoking and unfriendly - and the final product was substandard.  After two years, the driveway is falling apart.  After pouring, there were many defects in the final finish.  It was not smooth and constant.  There were leaves and other foreign matter in the concrete.  After two years, these areas are have started to flake and chip.  The bottom of the drive is complete falling apart with multiple chips and scaling.  The only positive is that the job site was kept clean and was picked up after.  He reinstalled the mailbox even though this was not in the work order.  Steer away from Flat Rock.

The project went smooth, done in decent time. After carefully looking over our driveway we lost a total of 4" on each side. Then noticed the some of the cuts were not done straight. 
That is not the issue. The issue, our driveway has cracked up the center through 4 slabs and is creeping up to 5. We also have other major cracks appearing up closer to our garage and on the outer edge. 
Then to add more to the problem the city of Troy inspector came by and said our driveway doesnt pass code. Not to mention the permit we gave them, FlatRock never filed for a building permit. Then further investigation brought out that they have prior issues with the city of Troy and not filing proper permits in the past. 
I have called Kent and talked to him about coming back to fix these problem areas. He knows about the cracks. He even came out to the house when were not at home to confirm.
He said lets wait a few months for spring thaw to occur and then we can come fix the driver way, but I will have to pay for the concrete, and he will do the labor. That was not written on the bill, he is suppose to cover it all. 
After a few months, he states he needs to make more money in-order to proceed with our repair work. We gave them another month and now is ignoring our calls. 
Kent tried to explain to us because caulk was not applied, its the reason why our driveway cracked, or we had a bad winter. This is all not affecting the out come of our driveway. The foundation was not done properly and the city of Troy confirmed it. 
We are fed up and will seek other means to get our driveway done and or get our money back. This is truly a poor excuse of a concrete business.
