GE Appliances/ MI (Detroit Suburb) was called to replace some small missing fasteners on the Frig I purchased + level the Frig in the space. They did neither. This was the second time these repairmen (2 came to the house) were at my house. The first time (6/5/14 and only 1 man came-Scott) Nothing was done 6/5 and I refused to pay. I called GE Customer Support and reported to them how AWFUL this repair guy was. Cust Sup was to send some other repairman out on 6/15 at my request NOT TO SEND SCOTT BACK HERE.. The 6/15 repairman was the same as the first service calL. He brought another repairman with him-as it turned out was only at my house to back up whatever Scott said couldn't be done. After I asked both men to leave; I called back GE Customer Support, they 'apologized' and the rep said my case was being 'forwarded to Mgt. for resolution. I never heard from them again. Who are they? Where are they located? There is no way to identify who they are (Company Name)or where they are ;located(local area address). GE gives only phone numbers to contact for service in the Detroit Metro Area. The Detroit repair service call number I dialed was: 313-263-4683. Toll free no. 866-844-8843. Fastener replacement (5 spots needed fasteners). Neither man replaced the fasteners, nor offered to give me the part numbers so I could purchase them online, and install them myself. Leveling the new Frig in the space: On both visits Scott told me; ' Your floor isn't level. ' On the 6/15 service call, Scott's backup man agreed with him -the floor is not level so nothing can be doneand quot;. At that comment, I went to my garage, pulled out a 3ft level, slapped it on the floor in front of the frig. and proved to both my floor WAS LEVEL. Neither of them would even look at the level on the floor. Neither did any work. Neither man even tried to shim the frig to level it. Scott made up phony excuses not to do any work. I finally asked both men to leave my house. No payment was made for their and quot; service calland quot; . FINAL RESULT: Finally, I went to a male neighbor, told him what had happened and together we leveled the Frig. by shimming one of the rear corners with a block of wood. I believe that rear wheel is broken - which is why the Frig. was so badly out-of-level. It had nothing to do with the floor. Neither man identified a possible problem 'could be your rear wheel on that corner is broken'. I WOULD NEVER USE GE APPLIANCE SERVICES AGAIN-They might only want to do warranty work on new GE Appliances or appliances with extended warranties. Regardless I would NEVER allow these people in my house again.

They showed up right when they were supposed to. They did a great job.
