Nice product, but the value isn’t there once you start talking price, as you can have a shower tiled for less. Might as well be dealing with Home Depot’s vendor. Rich King (supposedly “the boss”) came to our house on the night we set our appointment, clearly disinterested /preoccupied as he was there for a total of 5 -10 minutes. No samples, no literature, no nothing. We looked at the two bathrooms and he told us to go to their store in 12 Oaks Mall (we live in Lake Orion, not exactly convenient or why we scheduled an in home consultation), but with promises “to make a deal” because it was two baths, end of the month, he isn’t a sales guy so no commission, etc... we bite. My wife and I visit the store and have made some selections as we like the product and the lady at the store was very helpful. Fast forward to Friday night appointment. Again, Rich “the boss” who is ready to make a deal comes with no samples or literature, but by this point we are ready to make “a deal” as previously promised. He pulls out the cost sheet, texts the warehouse for availability and we “are lucky because someone had ordered what we were looking for and their financing fell through”. No wonder... “the deal” was approx 18% off the price on his sheet... approx $7k for a shower without a door because that was another $4k (but shhh we will give it to you for $2k with nothing more than hiding behind a Better Homes status). He then suggested I buy one for $500 at HD and he would install it for me. Remember I am doing 2 bathrooms at a cost of $14k and I have to go to HD to buy glass doors. Because I do my homework I pull out my Mom’s receipt for her shower she had done 2-3 years before for under $5k (and my Mon doesn’t negotiate, nor did she do 2 bathrooms). When asked how “my deal” was 20% higher than my Mom’s job I was told that there have been two price increase in the last 2 years. I asked if there was a technology change or improvement... “no”. Are they using more expensive products in their manufacturing process... “no”. All a sudden “the boss” Rich King started to blame “Corporate”. Which shows unpreparedness, and factual support... it was actually pretty pathetic to watch. At this point, with no justification of why the cheaper alternative than tiling costing more than tiling or justification for 20%+ price increase with no offset in production cost... I decided to wrap the meeting up. Great product for the right price... but the value isn’t their at the prices I was quoted. I also really don’t appreciate my time being wasted by a guy who promises “a deal” and then drops a “corporate policy” excuse when Rich King “the boss” doesn’t have an actual answer to a justified question.

Great job done by this 2 person, family business. Eric and Tony reworked the pluming for a bathroom remodel. The work was high quality and the space cleaned up for the next contractor.
