The only thing this place represents and cares about is the mortgage on their respective homes. Greedy, cold, materialistic and not animal loving...money loving. They represent the worst of vets-no love or care for animals or people. 1) Does not call back or follow up 2) Quick judgment without all the facts present 3) Does not practice smart veterinary science but just throws the kitchen sink at the issue in order to get money first and recognize the problem second 4) No collaboration between Dr. Tate and Dr. Boensch 5) No consensus between the two vets or the staff 6) No empathy or sympathy from Dr. Tate specifically - no call backs while my cat was severely sick from Dr. Tate 7) Staff's emphasis is not on animal well-being or helping patients through trying times with sick pets. They only care about their paycheck. DON'T GO THERE!

The vet called my sister on weekly basis to check on her cat's condition. She respects my sister opinion on his progress and they collaborate on the treatment. I'm happy to see he is getting well. She previously took him to another vet and he barely examined him and recommended steroids and never called to check to see if the cat was getting better. If I was a cat I want this vet to be my doctor.I'm

My elderly cat does not like to visit the vet. In the past he would often cry and hide in his kennel. This was not our experience when meeting Dr. Berk and her staff. They were all very kind and compassionate with my dear Bailey, taking extra time to pet him and talk with me before the examination. They welcomed all of my questions and I left just delighted to have found a new vet. Without a doubt I will return to the Troy Veterinary Hospital. They made me feel welcome and like one of the family!

They are wonderful. They are friendly. My pets care is their first concern. They have always taken good care of my pets. Their staff members are very efficient and good. They know what they are doing.

Just walking in the door, being greeting by Linda and staff , makes you feel like a very comfortable environment. Dr. Tate will always spend the time to discuss treatments, and options for your pet, and always will return your callls.

They are very professional and reliable. They are very expensive, but they do provide good care.

Our seven year old dog had stopped eating was not acting like herself. We took her to Troy Vet, where she had been going for years. After testing, they suspected that my dog had a blockage in her intestine. They had to perform emergency surgery on her. Apparently, my dog had eaten one of my daughter's burp cloths, and it was in fact blocking her intestine. While they were unable to save her at this point (from beginning to end, it was over a week), I really appreciated their bedside manner with my dog and that they were truly sorry that she did not make it. I spoke with Dr. Tate after my dog passed, and although I could hardly get a word out because I was so upset, Dr. Tate explained everything to me so I had no questions whatsoever. We had her cremated, through the company that Troy Vet uses (the vet took care of everything) and received a nice plaster of her paw print with her ashes, which was a nice gift and keepsake. I will always take my dogs here and would recommend them to anyone.

I don t remember the prices off hand but I can say that they are reasonable. The staff is very nice and the vet seems to get along really well with our animals. I don t have a problem recommending them and will continue to use them moving forth.

The three vets who are there are really professional and show care to the animals they see.

All of the doctors here are professional, thorough, and very caring with our cats. I would highly recommend this animal hospital. It is very clean and the support staff are very professional.
