Tree Pros LLC

I would like to start off by saying that I am not a customer of Tree Pros. I am an innocent bystander. The neighbor behind my house wanted to cut down a tree that would eventually fall on my garage. The crew approached me and said that they only way they could remove the tree is if they put their crane in my driveway. I didn’t really care because I was selling my house and already had a buyer, but I wanted to do a favor for the buyer and save him some work in a couple of years. However, I was concerned about potential damage to my driveway for myself and the new buyer, so I asked if there was a potential for damage. They told me that the cranes have damaged driveways before, but that it normally only happens on newly settled driveways, and even then it would be only a “hairline crack”. My driveway was old and settled a long time ago, and I was ok with the worst case scenario, which I was told would be a hairline crack, so I agreed to let them do it. In their defense, they did say that they would not be responsible for damages. The next day, I noticed the damage, which was more than a hairline crack. (See attached Image). My driveway was now in pieces. No apology was given, and no note was even left. I called the owner to see what we could do about this, and right off the bat he started blaming me and taking the tone of “I told you our cranes have been known to do damage”. He refused to pay for the damages, and did not even offer to pay for half of it. I was looking at the very least for some sort of apology, not being blamed, so I admit that I did become irate, and I raised my voice. I let the owner know that I was willing to tell my story on Angie’s List, and what happened next was very unprofessional. He said “You like to talk trash on websites. I would like to come to your house and meet you in person since you are such a tough guy”. Where I am from, that is a threat. Fortunately, they buyer was willing to go forward, so no harm was done to me, personally, but people should know that if they hire this company their equipment may cause damage which will be more than a hairline crack, and that if there is some sort of problem, the owner may be hostile.

Tree Pros LLC. did a great job. They showed during the window time advised and was able to get the trees removed / my yard cleaned up much faster than anticipated. To add, when the job was completed, they took the time to point out some various types/features of trees I had on my property which was cool. Rob is a young man with a great work ethic, a good team, and takes care of business.

I had Robert trim the bottoms of the pine trees in my backyard. He did a great job and it helps open up my back yard a lot. I also bought 3 face cords for our wood burner. Over delivered and cheaper than any other providers I found. Rob also cut down a maple tree at my friend Todd's house. Thank you
