Response from Total Lawn Care Inc
To Whom it May Concern, I was first notified of this complaint on March 9, 2013, this was a Sunday. The staff came back to work from the weekend, and I asked everyone to look for any possible request or confirm regarding this customer. The two salesman, and the two office support have looked for an(any) email, estimate, or confirmation from this customer. I have waited to March 11, 2013, two days, to make sure that we did not provide an estimate for this customer. I think this is a case of mistaken identity as we no request from this name, or address that we can find. I take all complaints serious, however, this complaint does not seem right. The first reason, we do not have any record of any request for service with this persons name. Angies list persons can report on a contractor as long as they live in the house. So, if there was another name, we need that name to make sure that this wasn't a case of mistaken identity as i feel it is because we can't find anything with this address. The second reason i believe that there is a problem with this review is the lack of communication. If there was a contract, why didn't they customer call and complain on December 15, 2013. This was the day after the first storm of the season. On December 14, 2013 we had 7.7 inches in Royal Oak and if I had a contract with a snow plow company, I would have contacted them the day after they were supposed to clear the snow. This is the first we have heard from this person. This leads me to my third reason. Why wait until March 9, 2014, when the majority of the snow season is over to complain. Something could have been done to correct the mistake, (if one was made) and a discount could have been given for missing the first storm, as i have done in the past. However, waiting 75 days to complain does not seem right. If the mistake was ours, we could have fixed it, if not, we could have serviced you if it was another company that failed to show. I request that this complaint be removed as this was not us. We service 250 residential customers for snow. If we miss something, let alone an entire property, they let us know with a phone call immediately, not an email months after the first snow. Thank You. Pete Singler
