I called The Maids and Laura answered the phone. She was very informative and helpful and gave me the price.A crew of 4 cleaning people would come and the charge would be 146/hour. It sounds fair. I scheduled them to come on August 15 with the intention to also to call them to clean my old apartment when I leave it. They came a little late, that was okay with me because I had other projects going on in the basement and outside the house in the yard. They had two hours and that is all I wanted to pay for. I wanted two bathrooms cleaned including the drawers and  cabinet and one powder room. I also wanted the kitchen cabinets to be cleaned. I also wanted if they have time to clean the closet wired shelves and the crown molding around the house. I have a 2200 square feet house and one level. The result: not satisfied at all. They did their best I am sure in the time frame they had but it seems some parts were done while others ignored. There was still hair and dust in the bathroom drawers. The kitchen cabinets had an old sponge and paper and lots of dust. I had to re-do all the cleaning all over again for the kitchen, the bathrooms and the 4 closets (two coat and 2 for each of the bedrooms). Sorry Maids I will not be calling you again...If I had 4 people you should expect more can be done in two full hours, especially for an empty house with empty cabinets and nothing in the way...right?
I had no intentions to report that but I do not want anyone else to go through what I did and waste money just like that. I am not sure what happened but I saw them working really hard. The outside surfaces looked 100% clean and were 90% clean and I have to give them credit for that.

They did not do what they said they would do.  And they charged about double what people in this community normally charge.  They charged an additional $25 for cleaning my oven even though I have a self cleaning oven.  I had marks on my walls from their vaccums.  The cleaning rags they used were dirty.  Just a horrible experience.

Staff turnover was great and definitely impacted each different team's ability to clean well; however, whenever I asked that a specific item/aspect be addressed, it would be, at least for that cleaning. There was very little carry over for this from cleaning to cleaning. Again, bathroom cleanings were GREAT consistently. Administrative response was also good.

The price above was their per hour price. They were available when I needed them. Their website showed they were a pretty professional company. I thought their price was a little high.
