Elderly Beware! You will be taken advantage of. Remove and reinstall a toilet to retrieve drugstore glasses was $1024! Most plumbers work with commissions on the bill and this proved it. The elderly never question a repair man when they need the service because they are at the mercy of them. No new toilet needed but yet the repair man wanted to sell a new toilet on top of the outrageous bill, totally disgusting and I would call another plumber and avoid this company

Hoover Plumbing did some work for me on May 11. The techs were pleasant and on time. All was good except for leaving behind a bucket of dirty old parts, a mess in the basement, boot prints on the floor, a loose water faucet, a promised receipt that was never provided, an unsecured access panel to the tub/shower piping, and a high price. The installed hardware looks nice.

Technicians were skilled and knowledgeable. However, there was no communication. I asked for photos during the work project as I was not in town. I asked 5hem to communicate when project was completed so I could let the tenants know they could move back in. They told the tenant, but never me. I had to ask for photos of project. None before, o ly 4 after. Hopefully, my insurance company will accept. I had a camera video of sewer line and had to ask for video. The original estimator guessed the work to be about 5k, ended up being 7k. They do mot finance, so I had to scramble to get the $. I had no opportunity to shop around for better price because of health dilemma. They had me over a barrel and I was at their mercy. First negative experience with Angie's List.

I got a reasonable quote once they reviewed the work, on their first visit, which is what I was charged. Even though we had a winter storm, which they could have used as a reason to postpone my non-emergency work, they came on time and completed the work, even though it required installation on the outside, with snow on the ground. Good to work with.

From beginning to end the employees were all kind and professional. They explained all my options and then did the work in a timely fashion. I was very happy with the professional they sent out.
