He did a great job, the man who gave the bid actually did the work with a crew. The work was excellent and they took great care of the interior and were exceptional with the exterior (flower garden). I recommend him highly.

We liked the fact that they came in and everything got done in a day. Then they left and it was totally seamless. It was exactly per our request and it was easy and quick. We thought the price was reasonable because my husband always shops around and he thought that was the best one. The quality was very good. We would use them again.

to Mike Johnson from Emergency Egress responded to my email promptly and came out to the house to do an estimate on the same day. He was very professional and brought with him complete information regarding his qualifications and experience. He also brought a small sample egress window so we could understand how it worked. After interviewing others and calling references we selected Emergency Egress to do the work, which was a basement egress window in a finished basement. The outside space was tight and heavily landscaped, but Mike had special equipment that enabled him and his crew to do the work easily. The entire job was done in one day, including interior trim, and everything was cleaned up thoroughly. They even replanted a shrub for me that no longer fit in the egress window area. I was very pleased with the professionalism, courtesy, and skill of the entire crew. I would hire them again and would recommend them to others.

He was the best with working with our schedule and did a good job. I was surprised how fast the process went.

I contacted the owner on March 5, and received a quote over the phone cheaper than some of the other companies on Angieslist. He was also available to do the job 2 days later. He and his crew arrived on time, and did an excellent job. They were able to steer their digger through my landscaping without damaging my bushes or lawn. They hauled away the extra dirt as well as all debris from the basement wall. My basement is in the middle of being remodeled, so dust inside the house was not an issue, but it seemed minimal. Damage to flowers and bushes near the new window was also minimal. They finished the job in 4 hours, and did an excellent job for the agreed upon price. I would highly recommend this company.

On July 27, 2011, I called Emergency Egress for an estimate to have an emergency egress window installed. Over the phone he said he has done about 500 of them. He came out right away, within an hour of my call. He came with a van and a very small sample window in hand. He walked around and looked at what needed to be done both inside and out. He said he needed a flashlight to see in to the upper area where he need to do the most work , but said he didn't bring a flashlight with him. He said he would come back with his flashlight. As of the date of this report, Aug 10, 2011, I have not heard from him.

Mike came out to give us a quote the day we called to ask for one. Many companies we called would not even come out to do this even though we were well within their advertised 'service area'. When we finally collected all our quotes and made the decision, he was out 2 days later. The job was performed in 1/2 day and there was no mess inside or out. Nicely done and looks great! The window adds so much light to the area. We may have him come out next year and add a second one to our family room area. We have had the window through a few days of drenching rain, which is what we worried about most with a basement window....no leaks! Thanks Mike!
