Jim Krol is, by far, the most honest, thorough and economical jeweler I have ever used. He appraises the pieces while you watch, takes photos, looks under his microscope and then provides the most realistic current market replacement value so you don't have to pay these inflated insurance rates. He sends a complete appraisal in a very timely manner and the charge for his services is very reasonable. I would recommend him to everyone!!

I am quite pleased with Mr. Krol's professionalism and knowledge. He obviously is quite experienced with appraisals; a glimpse at his resume on the website as well as in the materials provided show impressive credentials. He was quite thorough in assessing the center stone, all side stones, and the settings. He moved from one piece of equipment to the next and had a stack of reference reports that he utilized throughout the appraisal. The report came promptly with a copy to keep and one to send to the insurance agency. A photo is enclosed in the owner's copy. For the price of the item, the appraisal was well worth the cost. I plan to refer family and friends to him and will return again for reappraisals as needed.
