Worst experience in my 50 years! From the beginning, the initial floor plan for the kitchen was off. From the outset this caused "cheap fixes" to be needed which down grade the value and esthetics of a kitchen project that's going to ultimately cost $20,000. My concerns were treated as if unimportant. After a major issue developed due to the botched floor plan, I was pushed off on the man in the office who told me an outrageous lie in an attempt to bully me. When I called him out on his lie I was yelled at. Kurtis had no interest in doing my job correctly or making things right. The true measure of a business is how they act when things go wrong and Kurtis was found wanting. To review: Floor plan botched, ignored, lied to, yelled at, ignored. It cost me $1000 with another contractor to fix the mess they caused.

When I called out his lie I was yelled at. Kurtis had no interest in doing my job correctly. The true measure of a business is when things go wrong and Kurtis was found wanting.
Lauren did a fabulous job with measurements. Everything fit perfect!!!! She designed our island using our existing cabinets and helped in choosing colors for counter top and new cabinets. Cabinets were delivered on time, as were the counter tops. Our contractor was amazed at how well she measured. Anytime there was an issue, Lauren got it resolved in a very timely manner. Didn't miss any of our deadlines!!!!!! Love it!!! I couldn't be happier.
Got the wrong tub - not the same as in the showroom and the one we got had a slope when you steped in and my legally blind father would have fallen. Kurtis put in a grab bar at their cost - HOWEVER, it was a large stainless bar that looks like it belongs in a nursing home.
Tear out was great - no issues at all

quality of work was poor in some areas - bathtub and bath walls had larger than normal gap between them....Kurtis said the walls were not square so it had to be that way.
The new walls they put up around the bathtub surround had bumps and pits that look bad. Ceiling has a ridge that isn't right. All of this stuff I should have pointed out when they did the final inspection but I was just so tired of them being in my home that I let it go. Word to the wise, be there through every step if you can and refuse to let them continue until they fix issues that are not right - I tried to get them to ifx the gap between tub and walls but after a while I gave up the argument.
In the end, the bathroom looks fine but for that amount of money, it should be better.
